Com este lançamento encerramos a nossa série de capas feitas exclusivamente pelo artista Gabriel Engster @a.la.gabs.art que trouxe um pouco da sua criação  visual contribuindo com o catálogo da Bioma Rec // O EP traz um pouco das identidades e linguagens sonoras dos artistas/produtores brasileiros Guaraci, Zero Bala Sounds, Dallanoras e MEANDROID & Xico. É um convite para o ouvinte passear pelas geografias da terra, expandindo para o entorno da nossa órbita terrestre, trazendo sutilezas, densidades e reflexões.

Biocenosis tells a story in four tracks with distinct rhythms and sounds that together form the concept of community, with differences that constitute bonds and dialogue. With this launch we end our series of covers made exclusively by the artist Gabriel Engster @ a.la.gabs.art that brought a little of his visual creation contributing to the Bioma Rec catalog // The EP brings a little of the identities and language musical  of the Brazilian artists / producers Guaraci, Zero Bala Sounds, Dallanoras and MEANDROID & Xico. It is an invitation for the listener to walk through the geographies of the earth, expanding to the surroundings of our Earth orbit, bringing subtleties, densities and reflections.

Right here is a collection of my absolute favorite tracks that I discovered in 2021. This set encompasses Tropical House, Latin infused EDM, Organic House, Afro Vibes, songs sung in Arabic, Spanish, Malian and many others. It's a truly global ethnic sonic journey. I hope you enjoy!

Rafael Aragon - Ecstatic Dance Brussels

The second single from "A Guide to the Birdsong of Western Africa" comes from Senegalese super-group Wau Wau Collectif and features Kora maestro Lamine Cissokho. They made a beautiful track inspired by the Yellow-casqued hornbill, a species that faces a high risk of extinction in the wild, mainly due to habitat loss and hunting. The lyrics call on citizens of the world to mobilise, come together and protect our ecosystems.

Born of a music initiation project at Flaminio Fávero public school, in São Paulo's northern region, Embatucadores is a scrap and body percussion group. For this release, Renato has invited amazing global artists to remix the original tracks. Starting today, we'll be releasing 6 singles that will culminate in the complete compilation in the end of July, available as name your price in our bandcamp, as well as all streaming platforms by MCD Records. Most part of profits will be redirected back to the project.
