This album was an attempt to make and sink into simple melodies and arrangements and focus on lyrics based on people, places and stories they share. 

The attempt was to make a raw album, with minimal arrangements and also focus on incorporating samples of various street musicians playing across different hill stations. 


This is our first attempt at discovering several wonderful events around us musically

Raghav Meattle is a singer-songwriter, currently based out of Mumbai. He raised ₹460,000 through his crowdfunding campaign for his debut album, 'Songs From a Matchbox - slated to release in October '18. 
The first single from the album, 'Better Than It All', was released in July '18 to support the campaign, is about coming to terms with realities of being a full-time musician in a city like Mumbai. Raghav describes his music as "vocal first", with a lot attention paid to lyrics and melodies.
