Hailing from Vienna, Sedvs constantly deepens his excursions and elaborates his sound with every release. Undeniably influenced by the mangled sound of the UK, the founding member of Bare Hands Records takes cues from the motor city’s funk, leading to his very own sonic interpretation, reflected in themes of manic repetition, complex rhythms, driving percussion and meticulous sequencing in his own tracks as well as his high-octane DJ Sets. Apart from his regular contribution to the viennese music and clubbing scene, Sedvs has been acclaimed on the international stage with his music. With ”Paradise Lost” he lately released his first LP on Bare Hands.

Originally hailing from the Bay Area, Jamaica Suk has found a proxy home in Berlin, where since 2012 she has been perfecting her captivating strain of Techno chaos. Her young passion for music was fostered by a doting grandfather, and found its earliest expressions when she trained in Jazz and joined a number or Psychedelic Rock, Shoegaze and Math Rock bands. This synthesis is key to deciphering her recent work, heavily arithmetic and thought through, cerebral and brawny in equal parts. This was the winning formula which led her from monthly Techno parties at 222 Hyde Street to the active schedule she now keeps darting from club to legendary club in her adoptive city. Her sets are ritualistic workouts for body and mind, monolithic Techno that pulls no punches. As for her production work? She’s just as keen to publish that through her very own Gradient imprint and merits just as much consideration. Bassiani Podcast 177 is a bass-packed studio mix recorded by this intriguing Techno engineer, an hour of compelling and turbulent sonic fervour.

ANDF is a duo made up of Frej Moström and Felix Franzén, typically known for their live techno performances. Using drum machines, synthesizers, and samplers, they deliver dark energetic and atmospheric sets where ambient soundscapes Blends with pounding kick drums and syncopated rhythms. Their music has been released by Arnaca Records, LXVIII and Studio Vagnhallen, and have received support from Justine Perry, Vincent Neumann, Laura Van Hal among others. Be sure to catch them at one of the several live performances planned this autumn and winter in Gothenburg.

For this podcast however, they have recorded a DJ set with some of the tracks, artists and styles that have inspired them over the years. Expect a hypnotic, dark, raw, and at times, maximalist sound.

South American artist and SURO Records label boss Marcelo Demarco's impact on the electronic music world over the last three decades has been nothing short of commendable. Born and raised in Uruguay, Marcelo's passion for culturally inspired dance records have seen him masterfully crafting unparalleled House and Techno cuts since the mid-'90s - earning him an undisputed reputation that continues to grow globally.
Also known as Mark Demark, Marcelo's works have seen him featured on labels like IAMT and NUMEN, as well as his SURO Records imprint. Over the years, a plethora of his industry peers have been forthcoming in their support of his music. The likes of Cevin Fisher, Hector Couto, Paco Osuna and Disclosure being just a few of the industry's biggest names that have been keen advocates of Marcelo's work. Beyond that, he has also been remixed by a whole host of big-name artists including Alex Arnout, El Mundo & Satori, Cosmic Boys, DoC and more.
Outside of the studio, Marcelo's presence in clubland is just as profound. With appearances at some of the most prestigious club spaces across the globe, Marcelo has been privileged enough to appear alongside some of the biggest names in the business - some of which he now calls friends. Some of his most notable experiences include Sankeys, Ibiza; Mambo, Ibiza;
Congress Hotel, Miami; Pacha, Buenos Aires; MMBox, Montevideo; Space, Punta del Este; Right On, London; Spiral Tree, Ire-land; and many more.
Known for traditionally playing the longer sets and also the seamless use of both digital and vinyl formats throughout his performances, Marcelo's purist approach to live performances echoes the realness that he pumps into his production. Retaining that practicality and control over rhythmic elements are typical of his rich cultural understanding and desire to forever instil a certain level of primal simplicity into his work - often being that key connecting factor for those on the dancefloor absorbing his very essence.

"In light of current violence against women day I want to shout it out and play it loud! I feel like it’s hard to talk to hatred and at the moment it seems that peacefulness is further away from us than most have ever felt. Women have been battling against cruelties for far too long and usually the solution eludes us senseless. So I try to take satisfaction in approaching complex problems in a painless way and shouldn’t we all be dancing and kissing until we run out of one or the other. For me It’s never to late for a new world on an old earth and in that manner I wanna finish with some words of solace inspired by the lovely Candi Staton.

Artist bio:
Kanda started out playing records at illegal raves in Utrecht always tending to the
heavy and groovy side of Techno. Nowadays he is also host to the Cycles Podcast
aimed at spreading talent and music with the community. His sound is
characterised by elusive atmospheres, funky rhythms and a full-on energy. Music
flows abundantly through Kanda's veins pushing him to spare no effort in creating

Following on last year‘s 5th volume of ‘Deep Heet‘ series, UK techno‘s front runner Luke Slater committed to cutting-edge, thought-provoking sounds teamed up with renowned names to reassemble tracks from PAS‘ long standing opus and recent releases.

Reassembled features standout contributions from former Ostgut Ton label-mate Len Faki, techno master Chlär, DJs favourite producer Rene Wise, Spanish techno figurehead Oscar Mulero, and Slater himself.

Driving drums, hypnotic vocals, and a subtle acid flair, Berlin-based techno powerhouse Len Faki delivers his reassembled take on ‘Give It Up‘. Chlär reimagines ‘Strange Attractor‘ embodying slick weaving eerie sonic elements and hypnotic vocals. On the second reiteration of ‘Give It Up‘, Len Faki delivers escalated urgency resounding through the track. Following with the prolific Oscar Mulero tweaking timeless sounds of ‘Surface Noise‘. Rene Wise ventures into deeper, darker, less straight-forward territories with Luke Slater‘s 2017 ‘Raid‘ track. Oscar Mulero double downs on ‘Surface Noise‘ with a more raw, more chaotic and experimental version. Focused almost solely on percussive elements of the original track, it‘s an elegance reimagined.

Slater contributes three closing tracks, including Rip The Keys, a housier, glossy techno rendition; Desert Races, transformed into a fast-paced dancefloor cut; and Engage Now To Surface, which plunges into distorted depths to round off the release.
