Live recording from my recent Australia trip, where i played in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Byron Bay. This recording is from Succulent Funk and Angel Music Bar in Melbourne on 28.12.2024. Angel Music Bar is a smaller, dark room with a good sound system. Glad this got recorded as it was great vibes and a nice document for a great trip to the other side of the planet.

To celebrate the launch of our 2017 line-up, and after 3 years and countless requests we are very pleased to finally release the long-lost recording of one of the most memorable sessions ever heard at the Fort.

On the final night of Dimensions 2014, a huge lightning storm broke out. 
Not knowing how long they'd be able to play, the pair decided to share the decks on the Eglo stage while the weather allowed. What followed was over 5 hours of pure musical joy, an epic journey through disco, funk, house, soul, acid house and everything in between in front of a relentless crowd of very wet dancers.

In 2017 we welcome Grace Jones, Jeff Mills, Theo Parrish, Moderat, Marcel Dettmann, Floating Points, Cymande, Nina Kraviz, Shuggie Otis, Daphni and 200 more to the Croatian shore.

A talent from an impossibly young age, Chicago producer and DJ Ron Trent began his musical career aged 14, the year he produced the febrile, wild Chicago anthem "Altered States". His production output has barely let up since, minting numerous labels and sub labels to release his and other's music, most notably Prescription Records, which helped define the smoky and jazz-indebted sound of deep house in the 1990s. Hailing from Chicago, the city which gave birth to House music Rahaan has been spinning house and disco since the 80’s when he started playing at house parties across the city.

In the 3 decades since Rahaan has become a Chicago legend, a DJ who is widely recognised for his exceptional skills behind the decks and his exquisite taste in music. Lately he has also been earning plaudits for his production skills with some truly outstanding releases.

Recently he has released on some key labels including Lumberjacks In Hell, Street Edits and Dopeness Galore. His tracks are steeped in dancefloor groove, music made by a DJ with the sole intention of moving that floor.

Rahaan is a producer who has clearly learned his trade via many hours behind the decks studying the flow of the dance-floor and the tracks which have the power to excite and enthral.

Starting off playing from cassette tapes with a group of friends under the moniker ‘Chuck Brothers’ he started to build an extensive house and disco collection in the 90’s after a move to Wisconsin. A return to Chicago in 1996 saw him start to build his stellar reputation as one of Chicago’s stand out house and disco DJs with residencies at ‘The Spot’ and one of Chicago’s best clubs ‘Buddha Lounge’. A reputation he would cement with gigs all over the globe in the proceeding years.
