براساس نقشه‌ی قدیمی تهران در دوره‌ی ناصرالدین شاه، در جنوب شرقی تهران و داخل حصار شهر با فاصله‌ی کمی از دروازه‌ی شاه‌عبدالعظیم، درون محله‌ی چال‌میدان، آب انبار سید اسماعیل قرار داشته‌ است. آب‌انبار که محل جمع‌آوری آب قبل از لوله‌کشی بوده است، بعد از شروع دوره‌ی پهلوی و لوله‌کشی تهران کاربری‌اش تغییر پیدا می‌کند. حاج حسن گلابگیر با جمع‌آوری تابلوهای نقاشی و عتیقه‌جات، آن مکان را تبدیل به یک موزه و رستوران کرده که پاتوقی برای توریست‌های خارجی و هنرمندان و ورزشکاران روز می‌شود. حضور آب‌انبار با میهمانان ویژه‌اش در این منطقه تغییر زیادی در بافت آن روزهای محله‌ی چال‌میدان ایجاد می‌کند. در این شماره از پادکست رادیونیست داستان‌های این میهمانان و برگزاری مراسم‌های مختلف روحوضی و سیاه بازی و... را در آب‌انبار سید اسماعیل می‌شنوید.

Finding one’s self is unavoidably possible in silence and solitude. In order to reach their inner souls the artists have willingly created a continuous and extended isolation. They try to live in the society yet can only search for those sophisticated layers in solitude; the search and discovery of that respected twinkle. This time isolation has aimed all of humanity. The isolation of humankind. Indeed from the heart of this isolation opulence and light shall come forth.

آنچه برای شهود ضروری ست ، انزوا ست.
یافتن خویشتنِ خویش الزاما در تنهایی و سکوت مُیسّر می‌شود.هنرمند در دستیابی به درونیات خویش مُدام و ممتد انزوا را خودخواسته ایجاد می‌کند.می کوشد در جمع زندگی کند اما ناگزیر است آن لایه های متعالی را فقط و فقط در تنهایی جست و جو کند.جُستن و کشفِ همان (آنِ )مُحترم.این بار انزوا تمام بشریت را نشانه گرفته.انزوای انسان.از دل این انزوا بی شک شکوفایی و نور بیرون میزند.

Anybody else prevented from accessing SC servers via VPN?  All of them are blocked for me.  This is the first time it happens to me in six or seven years of almost daily SoundCloud activity.  I use a VPN in SC because when I don't I get horrible delays that show up in many different ways.  The only explanation I have found is that somehow their security/identification system has flagged my IP address and introduced all kinds of speed bumps.  It makes the experience very unpleasant, irritating.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
