We are incredibly happy and honored to be able to put a folky, though completely different in-feel track called Come With Me, together with an incredibly talented Washington-based folk-emo country artist named Horseshoes. Come With me is a bit unusual, heavily textured love song that evolves all the way, from the beginning to the end. It is a duet, however, not your usual one - and it is as folky as it is alternative, especially in arrangement. We are especially proud of the touching choir-like bridge and the beautiful climax in the last chorus.

An important person in the whole was also Robby Sinclair (Natasha Bedingfield, Montaigne, Baio, Sam Valdez) on drums, who gave the whole song a completely different dimension with his skillful drummer's skills. There's, of course, the unique folky sound thanks an authentic banjo – kudos to Horseshoes.

Most of the music video was shot throughout Norway as a part of the "Come with me" road trip :)

Working on this folky cover song long-distance, we wanted to showcase our respect & connection to the famous song in our own way and style, changing it considerably while keeping the vibe and the message intact. It has a strong message, after all.

The Way We Know is a dreamy indie folk song about love – love in all its forms, with no single “right” way to experience it. It’s not just about the Hollywood-style happy endings (though those have their place, too), but also about the struggles, misunderstandings, and imperfect moments that make a relationship real. Love is about finding your own way, together, no matter how unconventional it may seem.

In fact, love is often played on contrasts. Sometimes, even when it feels like arguments are the only way to communicate, they can actually be the key to taking the relationship to a deeper level. What might seem like a fight or disagreement isn't necessarily a bad thing – it's an opportunity to put everything on the table, understand each other more deeply, and ultimately grow together. Even when two lovers appear to only be at odds, it doesn't mean they aren't deeply connected or that they can't build something more meaningful.

Life and love are about embracing the journey, in all its shapes and shades. Expect acoustic guitar, piano, bouzouki… and a whole lot of heart.

The Way We Know

At a Cost is about that last day before the other one moves out — the crushing, silent tears of an ending that couldn’t be prevented, the trying to make it lighter for the other person’s sake. And the parallel of traveling to new countries without a map, without directions… it might end up a catastrophe, and there’ll definitely be some homesickness, but ultimately, it’s an adventure. A new life, at the cost of the old one that was no longer sustainable. 

A huge thanks goes to Stefano De Stefano/An Early Bird to be the one initiating the creation of this song, and being a huge part of the songwriting as well as the one playing the guitar.
