Out of the depths of the Macedonian underground, a duo with a unique character is making a groundbreak on the international scene with their debut ep this Spring on Forestdelic records. Ogi (Yudhisthira) and Darko (Kala) have joined their powers in creating AntHill, a kicking new project of non-compromising night time psychedelic trance, exploring full power blasting dance music fuelled by their individual experience and production skills.
Ant Society features three lively and vibrant tracks full of murmuring synths and flickering soundbursts that are not recommended for anyone wishing to stay peacefully calm and composed. Complex and twisted like an anthill maze, they are perfectly structured and organized like the society of the ants and will definitely make you shifting your mind in micro-macro planes. In the next epiosde of Sangoma Records series you can listen to a fresh mix by Russian label producer, FUNGUS FUNK.

Fungus Funk is Sergei Prilepa, an established psychedelic trance musician from Moscow, Russia. Sergei started producing psytrance in 1998, and he has been releasing music since 2001. Over the past 15 years, Fungus Funk has put out his compilation tracks on numerous other labels. To his credit are four well-received full length albums: ‘F-People’ (2006) on Acidance, ‘Vostok 1’ (2008) together with Samadhi on Blitz Studios, ‘Electric Grooves’ (2010) also on Blitz Studios, and ‘Kremlin Gremlin’ (2012) on his own label Unlimited Music. Additionally, Sergei also released four acclaimed EPs. Fungus Funk’s sound is not easy to define as it incorporates features from different sub-genres of psytrance and generally tends to change from album to album. Regardless of which version of Fungus Funk you get to experience, it is guaranteed to be full of fat well defined basslines, powerful psychedelic leads, and top-notch sequencing. Courtesy of his productive musical output and subsequent popularity in the international psytrance scene, Fungus Funk regularly travels the globe and plays his live and DJ sets at various dance music events. Among some of the bigger festivals he has appeared at are the well-known Boom Festival (Portugal), O.Z.O.R.A. Festival, Sonica (Italy), Antaris (Germany), Transcendence (Brazil), and Hadra (France) among others.

Yudhisthira is a symbiosis of many different musical influences and since its forming by Ogi & Bugi in 1997 it represents a definition for uncompromising pure psychedelic trance.  Being planted as a seed in the most fertile times for the goa/psychedelic scene, it has slowly sprung its roots deep within the foundational grounds of the movement, all the while keeping pace with the ever changing levels of production standards and the evolution of sound synthesis. The now fully grown tree is constantly bearing delicious fruits that have been carefully packed by different labels such as: Forestdelic, Sangoma, Purple Hexagon, Blue Hour Sounds, Vertigo, Glowing Flame etc.
Up till date Yudhisthira has been featured in the line ups of the biggest festivals such as Boom, Ozora, Antaris and various others such as: Lost Theory, Tree of Life, Trimurti, Tangra, ChillOut Planet, God Bless, MetsaFestival to name a few and has toured almost every country around the planet from Japan, India, Russia, whole of Europe all the way to Brazil. Being set on a constant quest for the best recipe for a complete mind-blowing psychedelic trance experience Yudhisthira (Ogi) has teamed up with Kala to form AntHill and started a new solo project called Aumni.

Naima’s finesse of her DjSets contrasts with the violent energy she brings to the stage: her selection, mind-blowingly psychedelic, will take you into the mystical and powerful depths of psytrance made in Sangoma.

Flipknot aka Brian Fernandes is goa-born but bombay bred freak whose main agenda is applying his cosmic algo-rhythmic knowledge to create various projects including Flipknot.Kerosene Club,Shiva Dynamo,Spirtual Gangsta,Fibre Stomp etc, Also he runs the legendary audio production school S58 Stomp Studios which boasts of having single handedly tutored around 140 students till date.and also runs india’s first female dj agency – Feline Agency.
Flipknot is an experi-mental organic groove avatar. An experiment which started as to send sound signals /codes to outer space or to other pillon riders who fell across other parts of planet earth or who maybe passing by and would raise a remote possibility of get a hitch ride back again.

Assembling and disintegrating soundwaves ,balancing and disguising them as leads and fx patterns against the tempo of the beat of an excited heart to avoid getting attention from the Human race. Strangely these experiments had an adverse effect on the human race who danced and grooved to when amplified to louder decibels.,some even meditated,which bought great joy and inner peace to him.

Nowadays he is on a full time mission conducting these experiments which resulted in explosive rituals in forests,urban dancefloors,river sides and at the same time serving the purpose of sending signal codes to his fellow kind pursuing his super secret mission. He has been travelling experimenting constantly around the world including India, Australia, Usa, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Russia, Brazil, Israel, Greece, Japan, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Dubai, Nepal and other unmentionable beautiful places.

Elowinz was created by Diogo Gouvea and Tomas Vezzali in 2012
From 2015 onwards Diogo handles the project alone.

His music roots are in Hard Core and Punk bands where he played and performed in the undergound scene of Sao Paulo.

Since 2005 producing psychedelic music on different projects and in 2012 the Elowinz Live Act became the focus of his productions.The detailed percussion work together with arrangements of different synthesis are gently guiding the dancers into trance.

His first EP, Sananga was released in October 2016, followed in 2019 by his second Granjurema.

Here is the new Sangoma Records show with French duo, YABBA DABBA!

Yabba Dabba is the project of Frederick Barwich and Jeremy Quessada, who both grew up on the tropical island of New Caledonia. Together they explored the psychedelic world, and these experiences helped to develop a strong connection. In 2015 the duo decided to start this project and soon, track after track, it became more and more fun so they kept going. Now, based in France, they shape their groovy deep and trippy signature sound.

After releases on label such as Namaste Records, Sonica Recordings and Sangoma. In 2018, they will launch their debut EP Disjointed on Sangoma Records. Keep an eye out for this upcoming act that got us stoked here with their skills and ideas.
