Waiting Bells

I used to lay awake at night when I can't sleep and listen to the blood rushing to my head pressed against the pillow. 
it was faint and consistent, like a soft marching sound. 
The repetitive nature of the sound was soothing. 
"SOMEWHERE TO GO" was recorded on a baby grand piano and a tascam recorder sometime in February of this year.
It was inspired by the missing part of my life I will never have, that other place where the grass is always greener, the thoughts are clearer, a place I continue to reach towards grabbing like a child in the dark.

This song was made in coffee shops of the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles in 2016 during the fall.
Another "unfinished" song collecting dust with all the others.
