In this project, I crafted my own bells and recorded them to build the environment. Each bell was shaped, tuned, and captured in situ, allowing the ambience to emerge directly from the materiality of the objects themselves. The work also speaks about territories, pastoral trails, and transhumance, letting the sound evoke movement across landscapes and the memory of grazing paths.

Rooted in underground culture and Fine Arts, Raïa Blava develops an immersive ritual ambient project at the crossroads of experimentation and tradition. Working solo as composer and sound sculptor, he explores vernacular musical transmissions with a particular focus on folk and pan-Mediterranean traditions. Blending clarinet performance, handmade instruments, and traditional textures, his music departs from dominant Western tuning systems to embrace a freer, modal approach attuned to alternative resonances.

His compositions craft dense, meditative atmospheres in constant tension, dissolving conventional structures to explore tone as presence and rhythm as a guide through lost paths. Each performance becomes a passage: a gesture as much plastic as musical, as a way through losted paths.
