Hey there, how do you feel about listening to fast music for a good cause?

Bogota-based @bogoturerecords are releasing their compilation "All Eyes 'n' Colombia" this Friday to raise money in support of the country's ongoing protest movement against economic injustice, the government's mismanagement of COVID, and state violence. The protests - sparked by resistance against president Duque's proposed tax reform - have been met with incredible brutality by security forces. "Massacres, rapings and human rights violations have been daily bread. Colombia and all the people who've been fighting for their rights need our help."

In order to raise money for "various press, health care, food and human rights local organizations", Bogoture have rapidly assembled 22 top tier tight tracks from artists all over the world! Two of these artists, Dortmund's finest Bae Blade / @miatrice and @robintasi, contributed the stabby rave anthem "Chu Chu", which we have the honor of premiering today! What's the opposite of a chill pill? Today we have a special premiere for y'all: The dream team that is @robintasi and @miatrice, whose stomper "Choo Choo" we had the pleasure of premiering a few months ago, is back in business! And since there is no business quite like 90s Rave business, the two of them threw a seemingly infinite quantity of original 90s Rave samples into a blender and pressed play. The result is "Kuckuck" (German for loon, like the infamous sample known from the likes of 808 State's "Pacific") and can be found on Tasi's upcoming debut EP "Extasi" out on 15th of August.

When @djfuckshimself joined in a casual production challenge, where a track has to be made from limited samples within 4 hours, he probably didn't expect to be releasing the result a few months later... And yet here we are!

"Café del Mardcore", as the cheeky title suggests, is simultaneously balearic and banging (a hallmark of DJFH's style). With no synths or instruments added, this tune encapsulates the digging method that our favourite vinyl fanatic is so proficient at – a perfect example of modern sampledelia.

The tune is part of the 4-track "Weisse Weste EP" on @NaturalPositions which will be DJFH and the label's first ever on wax (pre-order now!). The aptly titled "Provocative“ bridges the gaps between fast techno, trancey influences with stabs almost reminiscent of hardcore vibes and a hypnotic bassline that wouldn’t sound out of place on a banging electro tune, all held together by Souci's production prowess. A reverberating vocal snippet keeps you hypnotised while the rapid fire percussion piles on the adrenaline and provokes you to move your body to the grooves. Presenting Queens of Club: a two-part VA celebrating the established and up-and-coming women and non-binary producers of Ghetto House, Electro, Footwork & Breakbeat.

Night Shift, shown here, is ten tracks of dark and pacey goodness with plenty of breakbeats and acid to satisfy your club cravings. However “generic” is not in the vocabulary of these producers as recurring themes of dance music are juxtaposed on every track with Ghetto House vocals, moody synths or thematic switch ups that will keep you on your toes, even if you're sitting down.

The title pays homage to the seminal "Queens of Baltimore Club", a highly sought-after LP from various legendary female Bmore artists (like Kotton the Cutie and Mz. Thang) compiled by DJ Technics in 2001. Almost two decades later and the club scene is still a hostile environment for marginalised groups and this compilation aims to address that. Queens of Club is by women/non-binary people, right down to the mastering engineer and the artwork designers, and intended for everyone who likes to shake their ass at high speed!
