Raiido was born in early 2019 when he came across the psychedelic trance scene in the UK. As an artist, he immediately felt the urge to produce Psytrance, and Transcendence was created. It features amazing collaborations with other fellow World Music musicians such as Nuno Silva on Dulcimer, Soufian Saihi on Oud, and Bruna Lopes on vocals. A unique mixture of textures can be found on this album, one that Raiido is very proud of.

Raiido is my experience in Psytrance music, since early 2019 I've been in close contact with the Rave scene in the Uk, and the urge to create similar music was born.
This is the first instalment of a new project set to open new horizons. 

Raido is also the reconstructed Proto-Germanic name of the r- rune of the Elder Futhark, meaning "Ride, Journey"

As a musician with over 30 years of experience in World Music, several albums recorded with prominent musicians, and 3 solo albums, it was after relocating to the UK from Portugal that "Raiido" came to be.
After attending several Festivals in the UK and abroad, the power and flow of Psytrance made Raiido start on a journey of self-discovery and the music produced mirrors such an endeavour.

Raidho is the rune of movement, both physically and mentally on the Viking Runic alphabet. This rune represents the vehicle (or method) that we use in order for us to achieve an object or goal. Raidho allows us to channel our energies effectively so that these energies flow in a manner that will help us obtain our goal.
