This is what would have been my whole-hearted entry for the VR remix contest.. but I lost track of time and only managed to finish half of it. It's very sad but deadlines are deadlines and I guess I wasn't paying close-enough attention. I was really happy that I was able to get out of this what I did, I only wish I'd have been able to work more on it. anyhow, here's what ended up being completed. The abrupt anti-climatic ending is where I stopped before I ran out of time.

Virtual Riot - We're Not Alone (Railgun Remix)

My submission for Demon Hunter's Last One Alive contest. Lots of things I learned with this track that I'll be able to employ in future pieces. I'm finally beginning to realize how important a solid mixdown is, and in the future I'll be honing my attention towards that.  I'd love any feedback you can offer and thanks for lending me a small bit of your time :)

Demon Hunter - The Last One Alive (Railgun Remix)

This is the first original piece I've managed to finish in what seems like forever. I didn't mean for so many remixes to happen they kind of just did ha. Anywho, let me know how I did on this one and how I can improve for next time! :)

Scythe

This is the first trap piece I put together. I've never been able to really do well with 808s before but I think I almost actually pulled this one off! I think I'm actually happy with it, somehow. Hopefully the mix isn't too muddy, I'm still working on growing in that area. Please leave feedback and let me know how you feel about it :)What needs to be improved and where to I need to look in my mix/synthesis for fixing?

My version of what I consider a chill trap piece. probably a bit aggressive for what most consider 'chill' but I love me a good bassline. It doesn't go hard as a banger, imo.

Chaosync - Open Your Mind (Railgun Remix)

Hey everyone. It's been a while.

I've fought long and hard with writer's block for a good two years now. This is the first track I've completed in that time that I'm halfway-pleased with. Whether or not I should be, though, probably another matter, hah. Either way, I hope to be adding more content again soon and hopefully writer's block won't strike again for a long time!

Wake

Hey everyone!

I'm back! This project was one that was super important to me - while I recognize that my mixing and balancing skills are still far subpar, I broke through a ton of barriers in this project in cinematic elements, musical storytelling, composition, and sound design, and despite it not measuring up to pro standards I'm really happy with how it turned out nonetheless because this means I've made progress!

As a side, I've been following Teminite for a while now since he had been kicking my amateur tail in just about every remix contest I entered for a long time, and I have absolutely loved his progression to where he is now. MDK has been one of my best friend's favorite artists for years. When they both released a track together I freaking knew it was going to be outright fire and hot dang it super was. 

Big ups to both Teminite and MDK for hosting this contest and helping me to grow as an artist! :)

And as always, feedback is more than welcomed!

Teminite & MDK - Space Invaders (Railgun Remix)

there are a couple things wrong with this. the first being it's just plain bad, the second being that the timing is slightly off, and the third being the synths i used don't blend that well.  but i put way too many hours  into this to not publish so here it is. begin weeping now.

PSY-Gangnam Style (Railgun Remix)

After clearing the worst block I've ever had as a musician, and after a good 3 months of steady work, I am finally finished with this, a remix for a friend of mine.  There are so many things going on in this track that my computer couldn't actually process everything. Anyhow, I understand that it's rough and terrible, and I hope that you all, especially the original artist, will forgive me for the atrocity that I have committed.
