Promotext: Our first original artist Ep of ´23 comes from Argentinean super talent Ditian, known for his output on labels like Innervisions and Exit Strategy among others. He delivers two dark yet emotionally charged rollers ready to melt your brain on the dancefloor. Ditian himself says this EP is about „bittersweet bursts of lucid images in our memory“, and you can really feel that on the first track „Strange Pleasure“. Beautiful tear-jerking melodies alternate and co-exist with more abstract sounds and create this unique mood hard to put into words, but amazing to experience. „Foxia“ is the darker, more dystopian one of the two, with its dissonant lead sounds and drony bass layers. Yet also here the production has a certain warmth to it, that might keep you from abandoning all hope. Or, as Ditian puts it, finding „pleasure in those things that when we remember them, strangely reward us in various ways, moments that have been recorded with an admirable fidelity. Say without speaking, just feel!

Davis Harks and Max Essa return for 4 tracks of impeccably produced dreamy pop, balearic wanderings and hypnotic chug.

Magic Eyes kicks things off with a track that hints at the sunset of acid house with chugging rave keys, a back-in-the-day bass synth anda  whole heap of soulful melancholia. It’s a deep, slow groover with strangely hypnotic, repetitive vocal murmurings that soar.

Plastic Bones has baggy poetry that flows along to a positive mantra shining bright; “come let it go, take the first step to lighten the load, you're one of a kind'. Joyfully strange and lovely, there’s a Beta Band mood to go with dreams of the Mediterranean.

Finally, Blind Horizons is a pure extended odyssey of lilting polished pop. David wrote the song with the idea of taking a listener through a journey, aboard a Cosmic Starlight Cutter. An epic and vast voyage, the sentiment is a reminder to keep searching. With a more classic song feel, it is driven by classic piano chords and cycles, drum machines, and layered synths.

We welcome @Dzhef, who hails from the heart of Tajikistan, where dance music was once an unfamiliar sound amidst the rich traditions of his homeland.

But for Dzhef, music was always a calling. Growing up in a family where every member had a musical gift, his father a skilled music engineer, his mother a vibrant folk singer, it’s no wonder Dzhef found his way into the world of electronic music. 

From being a rock enthusiast to discovering the emotional depths of electronic music, Dzhef has always been on a quest to create sounds that evoke deep feelings and connect us to our most human experiences. ‘’Tag Dir’’ embodies that mission, offering a rich, immersive sound.

We’re also excited to include remixes by our beloved @Marsigmusic and @Einidaeleven , who bring their own unique styles to the project, further enriching the release.

Made this (rough draft..) this morning after watching the BBC2 documentary, 'The Last Five Years' last night. David Bowie, for me is a unique figure, a huge inspiration in all of my musical ventures and has been part of my life since i can remember. I wish him a belated happy birthday with this piece, and I at least hope this refix does his stunning track, 'Lazarus' justice in some way... Dedicated to all the fans out there.
