So I know I was supposed to make Cynthia's Theme, but I was talking to VGR about a collab and they're already remixing that one! I wanted to make Snowpoint City for the holidays anyway, so I did :D This is definitely an underrated piece from gen 4 in my opinion. I will try to collab with VGR in the future for sure since they are one of my favorite remixers.

I will say though, this was an interesting piece to remix. The original composers, Junichi Masuda and Go Ichinose, did an excellent job conveying a snowy wonderland. They used falling arpeggios with an uplifting chord progression to really seal the deal. I wanted to keep that feeling alive for the holidays! I spiced it up with some interesting beats and improvisation and I hope you like it! This is a short one, so you can play it on repeat by the yule log :3

Pokemon Diamond/Pearl: Snowpoint City (Vector U Remix)

This is original music for music's sake, created from the 2a03 soundchip of the Nintendo Entertainment System, with the VRC6 expansion audio chip. It was made with a program called 0CC-Famitracker.

The NES has only 5 monophonic audio channels ("tracks" or "voices"), but the VRC6 (used in only a small handful of Japanese Famicom games) adds 3 additional voices for more pristine polyphonic possibilities. 

.nsf files are included in the Bandcamp download, for playback and looping on NES hardware, in a Nintendo emulator, or Winamp with an NSF plugin.

Fate of the Stars

This track was written on a Nintendo Gameboy and originally began as boss music for the game Jump Jet Rex (on Steam now and coming to consoles soon).  I expanded a bit on the original track and added guitar.  This song is heavily influenced by Gustav Holst's "Mars, The Bringer of War".
