Raindance held their first party in the September of 1989, which took place in a giant tent on a football pitch in Jenkins Lane, Barking. Whilst the party people travelling to our first event had to avoid Police roadblocks to get there, Raindance made dance music history with the first ever legally licensed all-night party, heralding the beginning of the licensed dance-party era, of which we, alongside the likes of Fantazia, chose to become a part of. 

Over the years Raindance have been one of the biggest champions of underground rave culture - we've held legendary parties all over the UK and Europe at venues such as SeOne, Camden Palace (Koko), Brixton Academy, The Coronet, Heaven, Bagleys and many more... this NYE we're again breaking ground with a huge Old Skool, Acid House and Drum & Bass party at the legendary (and never before used by a rave organisation) Hammersmith Apollo!!
