Next week, Sikora is set to storm in with an old-school-stirred two-tracker, Larrys Garage, in which she sings her praises to New York’s iconic Paradise Garage. It’s every bit of what the club would have repped before it closed its doors for good, and it deserves a tip of the hat for keeping Larry Levan’s legacy alive. She does so by offering up a ‘90s-informed house hit flowing with drama-laced diva vocals that preach word to crowd-clamoring samples, funk-filled riffs, and deep-in-the-night basslines.
