"The assocation between myself and Cream is not an obvious one, But the objective is to help break down the categorization within dance music. This mix hopefully gives a different perspective into another side of dance culture. Mixed by James Lavelle, additional mix, production and scratches by the Phyconauts. Mix down engineer - John Lyons, edits assistance by Richie Fermie. Recorded and fucked up at Dos Shot Studios/Mo' Wax London. "

***This came out before web reviews, however, IMHO, it's one of the most badass and technically accomplished mixes of its time.

The pic is an actual scan, the Cream logo is embossed and the light gold and gray print doesn't show up very well, but it's Cream for  sure... :-)

Cream LiveTwo - James Lavelle Mix (1996)

This is a wicked mix by DJ Krush for those of you that haven't heard it you should check it out!!!......Enjoy!!.

Each track has several songs that go right into each other, this mix constantly changes to one old school break beat to the next, along with scratches. That might be a drawback too though, even though the beats are great, they don't last that long because once you get into it, it changes and goes into the next song.



The Psychonauts: Time Machine

This is an incredible breaks mix by a good friend Chris Muniz, DJ Nightstalker, whom if you asked him, or found some of his work online, is a DnB DJ, typically...  

Some of my own mixes have taken on lives of their own, regardless, I continue to support them - all the way back to my first Demos.  Chris, a graduate student, pursuing a PhD., is not exactly in the best position to do that for himself, so I've taken up the torch with this one. 

It needs to be heard.  It's that good.  All I'm about is supporting and preserving the best examples of what it is that we as DJ's do, and here's one example in a breaks mix.

Thanks Chris, for allowing me this, and thanks to all the great, unsung DJ Heroes.
