For this new Mama told ya’s LP, the fury(ous) artwork has been commissioned to french digital artist sltcamille. Her ability to tell melancholic fantasy stories let us all stand in awe. Diplomatie Studio took care of the design, mastering was entrusted to Sixbitdeep - no difference here.

No doubt that with this second Album released on the label, UFO95 shows once again that he has something more. A little ounce of digression that makes him very unmistakable.

On July 15th 2022, Anetha will release the second seismic compilation on her label Mama Told Ya titiled 'Contre tout, toutes et tous, la terre demeure' - the release comes just one year after 'L’eau repousse les feux agressifs'.

The compilation comes up with the collaboration of 19 artists and 19 tracks - all of which are divided into 4 vinyls. Anetha has brought together a generation of young electronic music artists from around the world to get their hands dirty and produce some solid gems.

"I created "Trust your eyes" at the beginning of 2021, during a time where I really wanted to experiment more vocals as a real lead in a song. I wanted to create a contrast between the first and second part. The first one is really based on drums and fxs, all linked by an arpeggio. As for the second one, it is more minimalist and really "less is more" vibe. This track is a really a good foretaste of what my next releases (maybe a full LP on Mama told ya ahah ?) will look like." – Mac Declos

Anomaly Detection 007 - MAMBUCCA

Introducing MAMBUCCA, a powerhouse DJ/producer duo consisting of ChowwChoww and MINAS. MINAS began his DJ journey during the COVID-19 lockdown, honing his skills by crafting story-driven sets built on intricate percussion. ChowwChoww, inspired by a transformative night in Berlin in 2023, discovered his passion for blending hypnotic grooves with sound design. United by their Brazilian roots and a shared love for hypnotic, percussion-heavy techno, their chemistry was instant, leading them to form MAMBUCCA.

Based in the Netherlands, this duo grounds their sound in a unique fusion of rolling basslines, tribal grooves, and ominous atmospheres. In their DJ sets, you will always hear at least two tracks playing simultaneously, allowing them to seamlessly switch and layer, ensuring a constant evolution of energy that keeps the audience engaged. Their productions are inspired by Brazil’s rich sonic landscape, incorporating natural sounds and traditional drums. This distinctive style has caught the attention of labels such as Obscuur and the support of artists such as DECADANCE.

Personally, I believe these two DJs are incredibly passionate and versatile in both their production and DJing. I especially admire how they incorporate their roots into their music, making it more personal and unique. I’m grateful that MAMBUCCA has chosen Anomaly Detection as the platform to share their first podcast, and they’ve delivered an amazing set to live up to the occasion.

I'm thrilled to introduce CALZO FM, an up-and-coming Glasgow-based DJ and producer whose journey into the electronic music scene has been nothing short of dynamic. Producing since 2022, CALZO's passion truly took off with the release of his EP Motor City Movement in 2023, an EP I’m a huge fan of and one I’d definitely recommend checking out.

CALZO blends Funk, UKG, Lo-fi, and House into a soulful, bass-heavy style. Using analog synth textures, layered drums, and resampled vocals, he crafts immersive soundscapes that are both deep and original. Despite his recent debut, he’s already earned three BBC Radio 1 features and support from DJs like DJ Love, with releases on Manana Electronic, MOTZ, Polish Techno.logy, and Solstice, signaling a bright future in dance music.

I’d describe CALZO with one word: underrated. His productions are truly unique and transcend genres, you can find techno, garage and much more when diving into his track catalog. While I enjoy all the mixes in this series, this one is definitely a standout. It embodies a duality, packed with summer anthems and gritty basslines that showcase his distinct musical character. Listening to it, I couldn't help but smile, feel uplifted and totally energized.

Keep an eye out for CALZO FM, he’s only just getting started and his talent is bound to make waves.
