the sample i used is bad habit by steve lacy. i used the second half of the song (the unappreciated section of this wonderful track). Messed around with rhythmic space and rub a dub to get some interesting sounds from this track. this is version 2. version 1 sounded a bit softer on my car speakers

I used an additional tool (voice) for this assignment which was not correct so I had to redo.

STS349Sauce - Matthew Mierzwa - This assignment was to take an audio sample and create a song out of it. The audio is of my roommate and I joking around talking about what kinds of beers we like - showcasing a typical awesome conversation between the two of us. After recording the clip I started to play around with cutting portions out, altering time lengths, pitches, and the different kinds of warping.

Never tried doing sampling before. This took a bit more effort than the past couple projects, because getting the individual audio files to be cut to appropriate lengths while flowing together made it a real challenge. I wasn't able to make it a minute long because of time constraints and a lack of ideas for the ending of the song. This is my sample at least.
