Cette théorie est née d'une discussion d'amis, évoquant leurs souvenirs de fête Berlinoise pré-COVID, dans l'un de leurs clubs fétiche: le dénommé Sisyphos.

Légèrement prétentieux, ils se plaignent des standards de sélection du videur qui semblent avoir été laissés pour compte. Laissant la porte ouverte à Kevin en chemise et Cyndie en talons (plus cliché tu meurs, j'avoue) qui ne savent apprécier la chance qui leur a été donnée d'être ici présents, vibrants sur cette musique. 

Cela nous fait violence, notamment sur le dancefloor, quand nous nous retrouvons limités dans nos pas de danse favoris et notre espace en backstage s'avère rempli... pour cause d'omniprésence des Kevin & Cyndie. 

De ce constat fût clamé: 
"Un dancefloor, ça se mérite. Quand tu fais la queue 2 heures ou que tu t'ai fait refouler 4 fois avant d'enfin rentrer, tu le mérites".

Alors on ne vient pas ici pour siroter du Moët & Chandon, posés en carré VIP, mais pour se trémousser sur cette musique qui nous fait tant vibrer.

La méritocratie du Dancefloor 💃

Approximately similar recording of my set played at Panic Room on Dec 2021‘, just before the clubs closed once more due to COVID. 

Some transitions are gross, sorry not sorry, too lazy to record a 2nd time (disclaimer: wasn‘t even drunk... oupsi 🙄).

What energy for this first event of the "Birk à Brac" crew thanks to a wonderful team I couldn't have dreamed of better: juggling between crazy set of @theodmz🕺🏼passing by sick live performance of @nielspops x @zerwz2t 🎙then high energy set of @baree-masse ⚡️again a magical event co-organized, the beginning of a long series! 

Thanks to Panic Room Paris for entrusting us with their starry vault and decks, we had a blast.

And lots of love to all the friends - Parisians, Lyonnais & Berliners who danced until the end of the night with us - you were way too hot 🔥

À la croisée des chemins entre Lyon et Berlin, Rakla Maté aime arpenter tous les dancefloors électroniques et undergrounds pour alimenter sa curiosité et son oreille musicale. Franco-allemande dotée d’une énergie inégalable : night owl comme early bird, seule capable de faire un closing jusqu’à 9h du mat’ pour 3h plus tard, déjà gravir des blocs d’escalade suivi d’un brunch et d’un disquaire pour se remettre en jambes.

Ne souhaitant coller l’étiquette d’un genre musical subjectif, elle préfère décrire ses sets par l’atmosphère qui s’en dégage : solaire, vocale, sensuelle, colorée, percussive, breakée, space-X dreamy, contrebalancée des tracks niches diggées avec des classiques intemporels (ex: son intro & closing) - en espérant que vous ayez capté le ton qui sera donné et les multiples facettes de sa personnalité.

Du Sucre en passant par la Rotonde, aux free parties Berlinoises… Ses sets ont une signature toujours sensuelle, acidulée, variés de pépites niches comme classiques des 90’s, qui font de Rakla Maté sa singularité.

Cette franc-comtoise expatriée à Berlin pour se rapprocher de sa double nationalité franco-allemande, tout en restant lyonnaise de cœur, nourrit sa palette musicale des clubs les plus emblématiques naviguant entre les deux pays.

Une oreille affûtée sur le dancefloor qui lui fera osciller aisément entre house, electronic, minimale. Un set parsemé de release récents ayant fait buzzer les tracks ID l’an dernier, tout comme de bangers tout autant intemporels qu’inattendus avec pour motto consistant :
