Found an old mix i recorded way back in 2004, remarkably the cd i recorded it onto wasn't to badly damaged after all these years. Well only one thing for it and that was to let you all have a listen. Punchy Floaty Progressive beats. You can here the vinyl crackle in some parts, and there is a bit skipping due to some minor scratches on the cd! Hopefully doesn't spoil the memories! Enjoy... Rak

Well where to start exactly, i have had a love of music since the tender age of 15. Where i used to listen and record pete tong's famous essential mixes onto a cassette player, a wealth of music genre's from dj's such as pete tong, paul oakenfold, danny rampling, sasha, scott bond, john digweed, paul van dyk...and many more too many to list...! It was these days where i really got a thirst for the music and scene...The following year my dad bought me my first pay of decks, belt drive soundlab's i remember them well...with a little 2 channel mixer years away from pioneer cdj's. It was these turntables i learnt on, and started buying records from local shops...buying vinyls from sets played by Sasha, Oakey and the rest! It was the 4th of December 1999 the year i went to my first super club Gatecrasher...that night was special for me, the sound was so underground and quite frankly not sure how i got past the door. Walking in that club was like another work, very futuristic, cyber kids were big, people dressed up and were there as a family...That night i listened to Ashley Casselle warm up with Scott bond finishing the night...It was the dark tribal progressive music that caught my attention.. that was me for 2 years, had loads of monumental nights. Anyway this was the basis for my taste now, i have gone from liking trance, to progressive to tribal house, to deep house to retro and now i find myself listening to deep tech melodic war my sounds. I have played in some infamous nights around the North East two night of which were in middlesborough at the Arena, where i warmed up for Solarstone. I have played in other clubs in darlington and the surrounding areas. I guess this site will hopefully have my sounds listened to, and from this year on wards i am prepared to take to the producing side also... I really hope to make something out of my life long passion...so far i have listened to 14 years of music and i am certainly not going to stop yet!!!! music is a way of life :)
