With a faint vocal coming singing from far away inside a sauna, setting the right atmosphere, you can feel the steam coming the speakers, we can start hearing some bells slowly accelerating introducing the concept of time in the composition, the vocals come back in full force with a latin groove underneath before introducing a beautiful vintage flute and some slight elements of drill, adding mystique to the je-ne-sais-quoi of the track, just after that we can hear a small portion of the vocals acapella rising the tension and elegantly delivering a psytrance drop with a melancholic piano line looping into eternity while the ambiance and grooves keep rising the tension to beautifully bring us back to the vocals over a smooth ethnic sounding drill beat, suddenly all the chords are taken out while the vocals and the beat remain strong, adding a latin bongo loop just to turn up the aggressiveness before resolving the break to deliver us a beautiful melodic psytrance drop, filled with stretched pianos and erie ambiances, on top of that we get a very natural sounding but at the same time robotic jazz ride with flanger, we can feel the emotions and energy rising, the vocals come in again over the psytrance beat which keeps pumping a beautiful chord progression, and all of this is to send us straight out of this universe with a classic yet very avant-garde squeaky brain melting shponglesque synthline, when this section is finished we are led to believe the piece is ending, we can even hear the "You are listening to mandragora" etiquette being introduced in a very psychedelic and dramatic way, the piano line we heard on the first drop is slowly creeping back reminding us we are still listening to the same piece, the tension is risen just enough to introduce a filthy dark progressive psytrance drop with the vocals on top, the groove continues building in a minimalistic fashion as the beat keeps pumping a deep bass paired with a dark ambiance, making it perfect for DJ's to mix at festivals, at the end of this section the synth line comes again from an explosion of fairy dust to calmly lead us to the end of the piece.

Mandragora - More Than Rare

A faint vocal floating over an underwater piano gently loops until the drop comes in with a booming infrabass, a beautiful Indian rug sounding sample is extended while the percussions elegantly build up, one can hear the FM growl with a lush hybrid Ableton reverb raising the tension to bring a down pitched vocal before introducing a drake type beat sounding fill, a smooth mellotron takes us to the next section which has a floating piano and the main vocal chop loop prepared for us, it ill let it soak for some seconds before introducing a very shiny drill sections, with a baby voiced dub verse by holasoyneto himself, in the midst of all those shiny sounds we can hear still amazing detail being done in the very drill like adlibs, after this rasta reggae drill section passes we are introduced to a familiar hardstyle melody being hummed again by the man himself mandragora while the adlibs keep going insane building intensity and anticipation for the drop, we can hear again the main vocal down pitch and a very aggressive adlib used as a fill before a classy prog drop paired with the same humming melody we heard before and a beautiful piano line simulating falling stars, we can hear the vocal creeping in along a drill hi hat pattern, the synth cutoff is opening building tension letting us know its time to introduce a jazzy chord progression after the too jazzy fill, we can hear the melody playing and interlocking with a beautifully crafted FM hi-hitech roar, all of this backed up by a beautiful piano which is then pithed up to create a beautiful distortion which some could call mad but others would catalog as beautiful, it seems like the creator of the piece appreciates both kind of comments, after this pretentious section we get a dry melodic drop paired with the beautiful vocal we hard in the beginning, interlocking it with the hairstyle bit we can hear an adlib being stretched to introduce the infamous “you are listening to mandragora” produced tag over the same fucked up piano but a bit more fucked up for the final drop, which reminds us of how fucking cozy this jam was.
