an ode to l'manburg is here now !! this is a song based on the dream smp war, thanku for ur continued support on it !

The Election [Dream Smp]

A original (?) song heavily inspired by beetlebug's "Ode to L'manburg." 
Written front the point of view of Wilbur, it covers the first war for L'manburg, and the Election and events after. It was written PRIOR to October 8th, 2020. Those caught up on streams/videos likely know what reveals and changes happened on this day, and I won't spoil it for those that don't.

As stated before, this song takes a lot of inspiration from beetlebug's song, sometimes to the point of being a parody rather than an original song. That's okay. I didn't go into this with the goal of being a completely original song, I just wanted to write a sequel to "Ode to L'manburg."

When the sword is pulled and the rubble clears, all that Wilbur is left with i static and a couple of good memories. Everyone else seems to remember the bad, but he wasn't nearly as bad as everyone says he was... right? He is a ghost haunting his dead land, watching someone else breathe life into it... That's a good thing!! ... Right?

I had to do some sort of homage to Wilbur Soot. His storytelling skills, specifically in DreamSMP are immaculate. Ghostbur is such an interesting character. ALSO!! A HUMONGOUS thank you AGAIN(!!!) to my lovely friend Mint, @lal_nerd on twitter, for making this absolute BANGER of an art piece for my song! POGCHAMP!!! Tubbo's found himself in quite a difficult place. With responsibility to make the festival of Manburg a great one, he finds that the party he constructed with his own two hands would actually leave to his grave. Willingly or not.

Y'all knew it was coming. I knew it was coming. I just can't get enough of these stupid block people. And, it was nice to get back into the fansong groove! Anyway, this is the song that I teased on my tiktok! It was very fun to write and I hope that everyone enjoys it! The song's premise is from DreamSMP, which is a... I guess you could say roleplay? Minecraft roleplay server made by Dream, and this song is about Tubbo in the current arc! I hope you like it!
