Bait-Bit

This was my second attempt at a full-fledged DIY album, made in 2008. A project I'm still very proud of. Several of the songs are recycled versions of previous recordings.The piano pieces were made as kind of a suite, working its way through the general spaciousness generated throughout the album. In a sense it's the continuation, or fulfillment of its predecessor, Gathering Shards, which shows exactly how I went to work with the pieces, kind of scavenging my mind for patterns, forms, sounds, ideas.
The title, Teotl, is inspired by a central concept in Aztec philosophy, referring to the life force permeating the Universe, as in chi, or brahman etc. However in Aztec philosophy, the Universe, the body of Teotl, is depicted as the House of Paintings -- and this is kind of the idea I tried to convey with these disparate pieces.

Lonesome Edelweiss

A student of alchemy and philosophy, clandestine e-poet, and troubledour extraordinaire. My music is (hopefully) more or  less an expression of these traits in combination. Solve et coagula. 
My songs are my psychedelic relics. They all reflect something of my life and psyche and are given shape as autonomous entities, in order to cross the barrier between us. I hope they will reach the other side.
