Mixed Sets - Rashed Al Dhaen

Bahraini based electronic producer. His earlier influences in music started from Jazz, Blues and early Rock records. It was bands like Pink Floyd and the Jimi Hendrix Experience which sparked an interest in experimenting more with sound design and sonic experimentation. Over the years the search for new and abstract sounds progressively shifted his interest towards electronic music production and stylistically adopted a taste for deep spacey sounds. He has released his debut EP on Kitchen Sync and worked in collaboration with Salah Sadeq on a track release in a compilation album by Techfui. He is currently working on an experimental live electronic performance set as part of the XO project.

@raldhaen is a Bahraini based electronic music producer/ live performer and DJ and is currently hosting Oscillate (OSC). OSC hosts open format electronic music daytime sessions, in an intimate setting. 
The focus is to promote different styles of electronic music, explore music together as a community, encourage music experimentation & social networking.
Rashed has been involved in a live electronic performance group known as XO consisting of four core members and had his first debut performing at Boiler Room Bahrain as XO. XO has performed in various events locally and has been slowly gaining attraction from the local scene as the first live electronic group to perform House and Techno in Bahrain.

Rashed has released in two record labels, Techfui and Kitchen Sync Records along with self-released tracks on Bandcamp and an upcoming release with Obaidli Records. Rashed has been actively involved in the local scene performing at various local and regional events in KSA, and Bahrain.
