Gandalf works his magic to spoil your mind ...

He’s now resident dj and part of the art direction of important city festivals such as Movement Torino and Kappa Futur Festival and he’s been booked as guest for parties (Dude, Il Suono, Glucose…), and festivals around Italy (Nature Beat in Rome, Aurora Festival in Lecce, Forevergreen in Genova and Milan, Bardonite…). In March 2013 he also had the opportunity to play at the French techno club Concrete, and in early 2015 he had his first gig in Berlin at Griessmuhle, followed by an appearance at Karnival Der Kulturen Kreuzberg. Summer 2015 he as been booked for the "Numa" party in Tokyo, Japan, and in October 2015 he was guest of the infamous "Staub" party in Berlin before returning at About Blank for the "Away meets Genau" party in 2016 and at Kosmonaut in 2017. In April 2017 he returned toJapan where he performed at Dommune and at Unit in Tokyo.

Pris has been present and correct on the techno scene since 2013, initially making an impact on Resin and later releasing across tastemaking, singular labels such as Avian and Semantica. Pris’s music has always had a vulnerable quality weaved into powerful, dynamic tracks that became favourites amongst many of the vanguard of the scene and on vast, demanding sound systems. This unusual, sometimes wistful quality has evolved into an exciting new form through the medium of his new label, Empathy Corp, a striking mixed-media project founded alongside creative partner, Deejay Astral. The latest release from Pris himself, 'Sulphur City', has just hit stores. In a similar mould, and reflecting a philosophy that has evolved both emotionally and intellectually, Pris’s contribution to #PHANTASYMIX is involving, sophisticated techno that wears its heart on sleeve.

Andrea Cossu è un DJ e produttore sardo di base a Berlino. Classe 1991, recentemente si è diplomato in composizione elettroacustica al Conservatorio di Cagliari ed ha lavorato come Sound Engineer da AMAM Studio.

La sua impronta sonora caratterizzata da suoni profondi è stato conosciuto dal pubblico con l’album di debutto Spira rilasciato sull’etichetta The Gods Planet. É stato pubblicato anche su Semantica, Isolade(Kompakt), No Way Records e Kornarion.
