"It's all good baby-baby!" One of the crown jewels of golden era hip hop, the ultimate feel good summer jam of juicy, gets a dj blue funk disco treatment... I stumble upon the piano loop two years ago after finding a 45 of Andrea True Connection's "more more more" in a free record bin. I knew it would serve as a great base for an uptempo, feel good hip hop jam, so I thought Juicy would be a good choice for the vocals. Looped up some drums & grabbed the trumpet part as the bridge, a nod to the Herb Alpert sample in "Hypnotize." The sample source is a somewhat sleazy tune that I don't much care for, but staying true to the hip-hop idiom of "making something out a nothing," I found gold & flipped it into this jam. Hope you enjoy, "and if you don't know, now you know!"
