Composition.
2024.

Composed totally "by hand", note by note, without the help of an improvisation. It is unusual for me, and rather difficult, because I don't hear the music in my head, and I have less inspiration this way.

I'm trying to compose for all sections of the orchestra.

The second half is partly based on the same score as the first one with a different orchestration, on which I added some new instrumental tracks and some variations. Among some other changes, I wanted to leave more room to the cello and violin solo.

Graphic artist, writer, and just a budding musician.

Playing piano is my daily therapy against stress. That also repels the rodents that attempt to squat my attic in winter !

As an insomniac, I mainly play at night. Each improvisation is like a snapshot of my mood and state of mind of the instant.

I record almost everything I play. From time to time one of these improvisations inspires me enough, and I use it as a basis for a composition.
