Dash Berlin Mix: A State Of Trance Sundays June 2014 (#WA)

TOMS and Paul van Dyk have joined together to create a limited edition shoe and eyewear collection. Famous for pioneering the dance music sub-genre Trance in the early 1990’s, Paul is an award winning visonary in the electronic music genre. The shoes and eyewear will feature a galaxy-inspired design, printed with Paul’s signature triangle logo. The eyewear frames also feature tips that perfectly mimick the blue of his VANDIT record label logo. As always, with every pair of shoes purchased, TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need and with every pair of eyewear purchased, TOMS will help restore sight to someone in need. Following the inaugural episode of ‘Axtone Presents: Deniz Koyu', the show makes its return, this time recruiting Dutch duo ‘DubVision’.

In this second edition of the series, Victor & Stephan take a look back at some of their biggest influences. Throughout this podcast, they reveal a techno past, relive festival memories like listening to Luciano at Sonar, recall the time they heard Axwell playing their single ‘All by Myself’ in Miami 2012 (we were there too!) and show some love for the legendary Daft Punk. 

The first half of the show features the likes of Joris Voorn, Julien Jabre, Zedd and Discopolis whilst the second half snaps straight to the present with tracks & productions from Axtone alumni Kryder, Arty and Hook N Sling plus of course material from DubVision themselves including some special mashups.
