Luke Hovey has been a rapid riser on the Melbourne/Naarm scene over the past couple of years and you only need to hear one of his sets to know exactly why.
Luke's debut release 'Haven't You Forgotten Something?' sums up what he is all about. A thick and heavy bassline combined with uplifting elements to provide energy at a high level, which he considers key in his production and DJ sets. When Luke is behind the decks, his sets consist of harder house and uplifting techno which is sure to capture the attention of all punters.
Luke's ability and unique mixing style has seen him score regular gigs across Melbourne/Naarm's biggest venues and parties, whilst supporting names such as DJ Boring, Midland, and Willaris K are highlights that stand out from the rest.

Next up to the Nektar Track series is a big one, Newcastle/Steel City local, DAVYROE, with his debut track, Step Back.

Finding the love for DJing in lockdown, Davy found his way in production just recently and has already started with a bang. Focusing on Techno/Breaks last year, Davy's moment of turning to the new Fast House, high energy techno scene came when he attended local newcastle event 'Daydreaming' and came to the liking of SWIM & CRUSH3d.

Branching through popular Newcastle events and playing some heavy sets as of late, Davy looks to extend into new areas this year. He hopes to be able to release plenty of good tracks and "gain traction through my music". Also founding the event space, 'Kree8productions', located in the Steel City as well, a big year is coming up for Davy.
