We are glad to announce that we finally have another female back on the label. Powerwoman Amelia serving this week’s podcast for us. She returns to the label after her wonderful contribution on IMP010. The London-based artist pushes the darker side of minimal throughout her music. It’s finally time for her to make her way through the underground scene, so keep an eye out on her pages. 

Amelia’s set is filled with dark influenced rollers illustrating her sound perfectly. Expect powerfull basslines, deep textures, and breaky beats all compressed in her 70 minutes selection. Enjoy!

Sorin is no stranger to our beloved radio show and podcast as I discovered him a while ago under the Egal3 moniker. Fast forward 3 years: his own vinyl only label, An|dromeda https://soundcloud.com/andromedaltd, a killer release at Brouqade Records (Vid - Camelie, still available here: http://www.decks.de/t/vid-camelie/c2j-y3), overplayed by the masters Petre Inspirescu or Rhadoo, and lots of gig all over Europe.

This Vibecast Sessions episode, recorded a few days ago at Vibe FM's studios, is a perfect example of Vid's vision on underground house music: a dark & heavy minimal athmosphere, marvelously stabbed here and there by pianos and violins. It's up to you to find Vid's own tracks along some gems signed by Ricardo Villalobos, Onur Ozer or Sep.

◉ Sebastian Borca aka Verzila is a local electronic music producer and promoter, the one behind the well-known eponymous YouTube channel with the same name. Born in Sighetu Marmatiei, the northernmost point of Romania, he developed a passion for modern electronic dance rhythms from the age of 14, exploring numerous genres and subgenres. In time, he finds various flavors of house and techno to be the ones he resonates with the most and starts dedicating more and more attention to music. In February 2008 he created his YouTube channel, uploading tracks he liked from various artists, including friends and emerging talents. With a focus on deep house, tech house, microhouse, minimal and techno, the initiative enjoys massive success and receives support from many directions. Steadily, the venture becomes a solid promotion platform, currently counting over 102k subscribers, 55 million views and 5479 videos. A new chapter was written in May 2017 when he established Welter Records, an independent imprint aiming to offer more exposure to international and Romanian artists who find themselves at the beginning of their careers. With 200+ releases and 60+ podcasts until now. The second chapter was born in 2021 with the Inunct Music project label that is a free to download label with the purpose of spreading music for free and helping artists expose their vision through music. Currently Inunc Music has 20+ releases. When it comes to mixing he’s rarely seen behind the decks, playing only at a limited number of parties, mostly the ones organised with his long-time friend Mofescu through his party label Oscilatii.
