"It is said that what gets your attention gets you... as in, you know, it's what you become. That's pretty radical So what's your focus, where does your attention go... your thoughts, words, energies and actions?
Anyway that's what's got my attention this day and I'm aiming at an upgraded version of how I am currently operating. Prioritizing my goals and responsibilities and doing the things that will liberate me of my self made burdens that I may fulfill the dreams I am dreaming. I have big ones! I know we all do!
I know I can be and can do better in so many facets of my thinking and doing. Anyone else feeling the call for an upgrade in focus, and attention... in the spirit of what you're becoming?"

We are a vital part of the Universe... and it's near planting time. How do we tend to the seeds of our heart... our creation and co-creative efforts? How do we acknowledge, cultivate and live into what is ours to tend to, to harvest, to share? How do we build strength and trust, and allow faith to fill in the unknown parts that lie ahead yet steer us to fulfillment? Is faith then a healthy combination of the knowable (strength) and the unknowable (trust)exercised through free will and choice ?

Our heart seeds have the highest viability when our roots go deep, when we know ourself and our relationship to the Universe. Winds of change may threaten to uproot us when we don't know ourselves or, if we do just blow the seeds of our heart far and wide cultivating goodness and nourishment wherever they land. ~ A.L.

Within each of us lies a star seed, a divine spark that holds the potential to sprout into a new consciousness, to awaken the soul to its true purpose in the cosmos. This seed, when nurtured with love, mindfulness, and a deep connection to the spiritual essence of life, begins to grow, pushing through the layers of illusion and fear that have shrouded our light. As it blossoms, we awaken to the realization that we are not separate from the universe but a vital part of it, that our thoughts and actions ripple across the fabric of reality, influencing the course of evolution itself. This awakening is a rebirth, a shedding of the old paradigms that have kept us in darkness, and a stepping into the light of a new dawn, where we live as conscious co-creators in the endless dance of creation. ~ YPS

Feeling So Free

In Taoism it is said that Yin and Yang are representative of light and dark qualities. Unlike Western culture, however, they do not believe dark to be wrong or evil, rather just being.

This performance and DJ set is a culmination of 5 years of creating music in various forms and bringing them all together into a dance medicine journey that will take you from ambient, downtempo and folktronica all the way to trap and heavy bass music.

The juxtaposition of light and dark elements is featured heavily in this dance medicine journey and is meant to bring the healing power of ecstatic dance to all!

The first two songs are written by me and will be released as singles in the future, followed by the DJ set, and sound healing to complete the journey.

In this time of the equinox, balancing the day and night, light and dark, hot and cold, we are called to balance ourselves. Sometimes balance means leaning much more to one side to relocate our center. Do you need more yin, or more yang, to find your balance?

Intuitively channeling a sonic prayer, Ra Ma Agua accompanied this set with their tribal style vocals and polyphonic throat singing. They begin singing around 1:11:11 thru the set until the end.

Intuition is a sonic journey through the twilight of the soul, where whispered secrets float on the air like delicate tendrils of mist, drifting effortlessly between realms. The smooth, sensual saxophone weaves a ribbon of sound, as though tracing the contours of forgotten dreams, caressing the heart with every note. Its voice speaks in the language of the unspoken, drawing you closer to an inner truth you’ve always known but never quite grasped. Beneath this, the downtempo bass hums like the pulse of the earth itself, grounding you in a timeless rhythm that resonates with the heartbeat of the cosmos.

The music flows like liquid starlight, undulating through the ether, wrapping you in a cocoon of warmth and stillness. Each beat is a heartbeat, each breath a promise. "Intuition" is a journey inward, a dance of spirit and sound that moves like a quiet river, always in motion yet forever still, carrying you toward a place where time slips away, and the only thing that remains is the knowing, deep within.

This track invites you to listen not with your ears, but with your soul.

Intuition

Deep in the heart of the most ancient forest lives a wise and benevolent frog spirit. Echoing through the vast swaying branches of the forest, the dancing dream frog sings songs of freedom and ecstasy, our natural birthright. Although the frog spirit is as old as the forest itself, they are still alive with the natural energy and spryness of a child. They can awaken curiosity to the unknown and renewing wonder to the mundane. The dancing dream frog is here to remind us not to take ourselves too seriously, and to remember to embody our innocent inner child spirit too!

This very special set was performed at Ecstatic Convergence in Denver, CO for New Years Eve 2024, closing out the downtempo room after Moondrop! In this completely live performance, I sing 2 original songs and a Yaima cover, followed by ~45 minutes of completely improvised singing, beatboxing and live looping.

I am so happy and grateful for having been given this amazing opportunity to share my gifts and purpose with my community, and I wish you all an amazing and transformative 2025!

Denver Ecstatic Dance February 9th 2025

In the vast universe full of forms and the formless, two individual particles may become entangled, meaning they affect each other instantly over an infinite distance. This set is a dedication to how love may act in a similar way, we form attachments to other people, animals, and things and the attachment persists over vast distances and time - we may even feel when things happen to those we love and feel them after they pass.

May the quantum love particles bring us all together and resonate in the frequency of compassion and love, may we remember we are together even when separated by vast distances, and may we entangle others in a quantum web of love the whole universe wide!
