Vibrantly feathered birds of paradise sing melodiously through the forest. The Ramatou Orchestra (Parrot Orchestra) is a jazz octet with a fresh, experimental, and distinctively unique sound. From semi-acoustic jazz with folkloric African influences to Neo-Soul and Fusion, extending to Rock, Electro, and Ambient elements, this eight-member avian ensemble gathers all tangible influences into expressive melodies and atmospheric soundscapes brimming with playful improvisation and clever arrangements, all with a wink.
