I was listening to a song my friend, July Jones, was working on and thought the melody was smooth & catchy. Particularly what became the intermittent piano part in the final track. I promptly asked if I could steal it and see what I could make out if it.  After some chopping up and stripping it to its bones before adding some new parts and replacing some old ones, I feel like I've created something that's distinctly my own while preserving the essence of her original song.
