Being a household-name in the Disco House and Nu-Disco community, Ash Reynolds seems never to rest as his long list of musical output is almost legendary. A DJ for more than 10 years, the London-native playd in Croatia last year at the Dimensions festival and we are sure this wont be his last trip to the suouthern coast of Europe in a while!

Nude Disco proudly presents the debut EP from Swiss funk maestro Baltazar B. We first picked up on Baltazar B after he sent us ‘Ficus’ a track which went on to appear on the Nude Disco Selec- tions Vol 2 compilation. His funk based mid tempo sound is a bit of a deviation from previous Nude Disco releases but so smitten were we with the vibe of every track he delivered that we snapped them all up for one top quality EP. With the exception of ‘Groovydin’ (which features Baptiste ‘Bouli’ Amstutz on guitar & Entlet on production and mix duties) the EP is recorded and crafted by Baltazar in his own studio using a dazzling array of vintage synths, guitars and drum machines.

Inspired by their world travels, and a desire to bring back a piece of every musical culture they encounter, KMLN 's 2nd release on Sol*Selectas, the "Sabilu EP" is 2 original tracks written and recorded in Indonesia, and Mexico.  "Sabilu" features the vocals of Javanese jazz singer Mian Meuthia, now living in Bali, and original field recordings of jewelry, sticks, shakers, and traditional Gamelon music. The Indonesian lyrics speak about the love that exists in all humans, and that even though we all strive to be different, we are one in the same. "Gitamato" is a reinterpretation of the roots of Flamenco music, historically imported by the Spanish into Mexico. The spirit of gypsy wanderers is still alive and strong felt in Mexico, particularly in the town of Tulum - where a genuine sense of ancient magic can literally be felt in the air. In this song KMLN has recorded live the guitars, claps, shakers, synths, snares, and bell sounds. For the remix of "Sabilu", we have enlisted the stellar work of Mira & Christopher Schwarzwalder from Berlin, whose residencies at Bar 25, and now Katerblau, have made them underground legends. Their remix strips back the original, taking us on a slower even deeper hypnotic journey - while retaining the original message of human love and respect for all, within the lyrics. The final remix of "Sabilu" comes from new producer Schon Long, whose entry into our Shambhala Music Festival /  Sol Selectas remix competition earlier this summer, was the stand out winner. Creatively playing on the pitch of the vocals, and adding the grooviest bass line we've heard in a long time, his remix submission was hands down the victor out of over 50 entries. 
The artwork by Helia Jamali captures the feminine energy and message of oneness in "Sabilu", represented here by the deep red orange Indonesian flower with goddesses dancing around its essence.

Rincón is a small surf village in Puerto Rico where my family used to vacation growing up.  In the midst of a harsh winter, it was a short flight to a tropical climate with good waves and great people.  Rincón was also the location of my sisters wedding.  The vocal chops in this song - "you, me, forever" are a tribute to her and my brother-in-law.  Enjoy the sounds of Rincón.

Rambo V is a producer/DJ based in Los Angeles who strives to fuse genres from all eras to create a timeless sound, yet to exist.  Inspired by soul, funk, jazz, classic rock, house, techno, latin percussion, nature, surfing, and yoga, his production stems from multiple cultures and atmospheres.  Making an effort to push music and art as a whole, experimentalism stands at the forefront of Rambo V's production value and taste in music.  All of these different ingredients in Rambo V's recipe create a unique musical entree aiming to appeal to the underground and mainstream by being simply good music.

His production has turned the heads of Odesza, Bondax, Autograf, Oliver Nelson and Outkast.  He's earned performances at festivals such as HARD summer and Splash House and opening sets for flight facilities, Gorgon City, Justin Martin, Goldroom, and Toro y Moi to name a few.
