The New Moon in Gemini was Saturday, June 17th at 10:37 PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).

This is an excellent moon for setting strong intentions around practical projects, business endeavors, and social collaboration. The new moon supports intuitive decisions and is very auspicious for inspired and productive new ideas, cooperative relationships and negotiating contracts and agreements. Remember to focus on the big picture and not the clumsy details.

The energy is quick and fast moving which some of you welcome but may be uncomfortable for others so honor the diversity of timing and flow and stay out of judgment. Watch your words, think before you speak and allow others to have the “time” the way that is comfortable for them. It is a time for being creative, inventive, forward-thinking and intuitive in your choices with lots of support for moving in the right direction. Astronomer and musician Johannes Kepler realized in the seventeenth century that planets have elliptical orbits. This gave basis for the modern calculation of planetary orbits, and their associated musical tones or frequencies.

Ram Dass first went to India in 1967. He was still Dr. Richard Alpert, a prominent Harvard psychologist and psychedelic pioneer with Dr. Timothy Leary. He continued his psychedelic research until that fateful Eastern trip in 1967, when he traveled to India. In India, he met his guru, Neem Karoli Baba, affectionately known as Maharajji, who gave Ram Dass his name, which means “servant of God.” Everything changed then – his intense dharmic life started, and he became a pivotal influence on a culture that has reverberated with the words “Be Here Now” ever since. Ram Dass’ spirit has been a guiding light for three generations, carrying along millions on the journey, helping to free them from their bonds as he works through his own.
