This musical piece was dedicated as a tribute to the great cricket legend Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar (SRT) a.k.a God of Cricket! I composed this emotional track when Sachin retired from world cricket on Nov 16 2013.

Submitted this track as an entry for the Garritan Weekend Challenge on Piano. I have to master the track as the original was sounding too low.

Meteor Shower

This is a piece that I call a 'continuous piece' meaning that when I feel like writing music but don't really have anything specific in mind, I open this piece up and just add to it, whatever comes to me at that moment. This is a Piano Trio, meaning that it is composed for three pianos, not the normal piano and string trio. This was uploaded due to the weekly challenge from the Garritan Blog, from the Make Music Inc. I hope you enjoy it.

"Moriarty" (Dressed) by Max Zhdanov (Plectra Series 4: Turkish Oud)

A cold, still winter’s night.  The aurora borealis-lit sky shimmers and reflects off icy-laced branches of the evergreens.  Wisps of snow fall from the tops of boughs as night creatures explore their world.
This seasonal piece is represented by two carols, O come, O Come Emmanuel and Carol of the Bells.  The piece finishes with the fading of ‘Ding, dong, ding, dong…” in the pizzicato cello.  Icy effects provided by sord. violins, violin harmonics, muted trumpets and hand-stopped French Horns.  The celesta adds to create this magical atmosphere.

Crystalline Carol

This is the second version of this piece, now with the collaborative fusion of two perspectives with the Percussions, Mix and Master by Ramesh Krishnan (Rameshkrishnanj).  Ramesh adds an ethnic interpretation of all drums and their evocative colours.  His mixing and mastering adds a clarity and ambiance giving the piece a more expressive quality.  We hope you enjoy. I will be presenting what I call small musical themes or Concertcinos, as you know by now, I like to play with words.  These pieces were written as I usually write, straight to my iPad and StaffPad without following a predetermined chord progression, from inspiration.  As an educator, I use chord-based melody writing for students to guarantee them to achieve writing a good melody for success.  

The three pieces are orchestrated in small ensembles, and only their themes presented.  I have made the score as large as possible so you can follow for the study of melody, accompaniment, rhythms, and motif hunting.  Please feel free to comment on any of the pieces, and if I figure out how to use the YouTube poll, choose your favourite music.
