Ramin Kamfar is the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bluerock Real Estate. Ramin attended The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he received an M.B.A degree in Finance as well as receiving a B.S in Finance from the University of Maryland. Since Bluerock's inception back in October 2002, Ramin Kamfar has been directly involved in both the acquisition and development of over 7,500 apartment units as well as over 2.5 million square feet of office space. Prior to joining Bluerock, Ramin Kamfar worked as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers Inc from 1988 to 1993. During his time with the company, Ramin worked primarily in mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance. When Ramin Kamfar left Lehman Brothers Inc in 1993 he began to work on strategy to build a startup into a leading public company known as Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc.
