Boss - Temporacle "Diminution Paradox" - Sonic Hysteria OST

After a long time here it is. Relic Ruins' complete. I hope you like it!

Now that this proyect is finished, I think i'll try act 2 remixes, or maybe continue with some Sonic CD's style remixes. We'll see.

Relic Ruins ~Good Future (Sonic CD R2)

This is the save select theme for Sonic CDX, a fangame I am creating the soundtrack for.

I got to do this track for Ax once again, and although it took a couple of tries to get towards the proper direction, I am always happy working with him, since he is very open with everything I do, and lets me go nuts.

This track ended up somewhat sounding like something from Sonic R (which i dig), so I went with it. Also you can hear that I included a little cameo towards the motif of Sonic CD, which I'm really happy that fit right in.

Also you might find the track sounding slightly different ingame, since it is compressed there to match the volume of the rest of the soundtrack. I want to distance myself of doing tracks too loud, since the mixing always ends up being a mess. Hopefully it won't be as jarring too next to any other content and tracks.

Sonic CDX (JPN) OST - Save Select  "On Your Marks"

This is an Act 2 remix of Endless Mine from Sonic 3. Could you imagine if Sonic 3's competition stages were full-scale levels? This would probably be the result.

This mine is home to rubble, crystals and gemstones of plenty, but not consisting of the magical MacGuffins you seek. But danger is lurking around every turn. It's getting more and more difficult to navigate through the waterholes and dimly-lit tunnels. And those vertical-looping shafts last for so long, you'd think you were there for ages. Some might even say that this mine is...

Infinite. What? You actually thought I'd say "end--" You actually did.

Ahem. Moving on... Then, halfway through the mine, you'd get in another cart that begins to speed down the rails. The rails curve up at its end, and you shoot off into the air, revealing a massive opening in the cavern's roof, and the magnificent sunset beyond it. Your one peek at the outside world before you sink back down into the mines, and your only motivation to escape this boundless cavern — to see the sun once more. 

Now, with this goal in mind, you must keep on moving ahead to escape from the mine. With some luck, you'll make it through...

If I recall correctly this is mine and Jredd's first ever remix collaboration. Created with VGM Music Maker, this is a remix of Casino Night Zone's 2 player music from Sonic 2.

When I first got seriously writing music, the riff on the right of the ear was my most accomplished and most difficult to play. It is today something I really enjoy playing. This is the most recent version of the song and someday soon I hope to have my friend and singer overlaying the original lyrics to the song.

My summer vacation is unfortunately coming to an end soon, so I decided a good way to send it off would be to cover a song that has a good summer-y vibe to it. I've actually wanted to cover this song for over a year now, I just never got around to doing it because I could never find those "WOO" and "YAY" samples.

I'm finding Sonic music is always a lot of fun to cover. Wonder if there's any reason.

I've wanted to cover this song since very early on, much like Ice Challenge before it, but only just now managed to follow through, all the way to the end of the tune... again, much like Ice Challenge.
