After a long time comes back on Prospect Records the label owner "Hollen". The original track "Bitty" has a dark tech sound with a nice synth and a big groove. We first came across Hollen when he released on Supernova's Lapsus imprint back in 2011 and we’ve been playing his tracks ever since. His recent output has been nothing short of outstanding with killer releases on Toolroom Trax, Agile & Loose so I was very happy when he sent these two in for GU. 

As you'd expect, both of these are tough, jacking, techno bangers. "Red Fox" goes down the rapid-fire synth route while "Mainstream" opts for tripy vocal chops and system shaking bass pops.

Tronic needs no introduction for those who have followed dance music for the last 20 or so years. Since its inception back in 1994, Christian Smith has founded a label that constantly delivers top techno tracks year after year. Not only does he run the label, but also has his long-standing Tronic radio show, which is syndicated in more than over 100 countries worldwide.
Known and loved for its albums, Tronic released the very first of its kind with a collaboration only project in 2017 with 'Synergy' and this June we can reveal who is on the official remix pack. 
New names to the label appear on this release, including Petter B and Oliver Deutschmann with their heavy hitting tracks in the pack. Fast-paced, synthetic soundscapes and intricate percussive elements for some late-night rave style rework.
Shall Ocin comes in with a rolling synthetic hook, dark ominous bellowing horns, and a punchy clap, whilst Agaric's complex remix has an array of pad and synth work for a futuristic edge to the original.
Acid and breakbeat are coming back, and that can be heard in both the Jam El Mar and Zeta Reticula remixes. Jam El Mar, the only artist to have released on Tronic before drops a snapping acid line, thick kick and has a massive pad engulfing the mix, this is a big room techno anthem with a hint of trance. Zeta Reticula's breakbeat electro inspired attitude reigns in the mix, with a vocoder vocal coupled with some synths.

Ramiro Lopez is one of the biggest rising stars of the Spanish techno/house scene. His first Suara record (released last Summer) was a big success and got plays and charts from deep house players (Maya Jane Coles) or techno ones (Gregor Tresher). After a massive year as DJ and producer, Ramiro comes back home with a 4-tracks glorious EP. From the badassLoudastic to the warm Dathang, Ramiro shows us his full-range of music styles. The EP includes a remix from the mighty combo Kolombo & Loulou Players, well know for their deep electronic beats.

Ramiro López: def.: Chef en potencia, canalla, apasionado de su tierra y de los suyos, constante, valiente, exigente. Trabaja duro.  lleva media vida inmerso en la escena, pero es en 1996 cuando comienza a compartir su pasión por ella trabajando como DJ por diferentes clubes.  

En 2006 Ramiro da el gran salto a la producción musical; experimenta, investiga, adquiere conocimientos, comparte inquietudes con otros artistas y va puliendo poco a poco su sonido. La creación pasa a ser más que una forma de vida. Su toque personal ha calado con el tiempo en sellos de gran relevancia como Drumcode o Suara. Tanto reconocimiento le ha empujado incluso a crear y ser jefe de su propio sello discográfico (junto a Arjun Vagale): Odd Recordings el cual, en muy poco tiempo, no ha parado de crecer y de establecerse como unos de los sellos emergentes más potentes dentro de la escena techno. 

En los últimos años Ramiro ha seguido imparable. En 2017 se convierte en el primer español en publicar un EP en Drumcode (“Pretending”) lanzando, meses después, “Being Alone”, su segundo EP en el sello de Adam Beyer que le consolida como uno de los productores españoles más prometedores y fuertes del momento. En su larga trayectoria, Ramiro también ha trabajo en sellos tan importantes como INTEC del todopoderoso Carl Cox, Octopus Recordings, Kraftek, Terminal M, Bedrock, Noir o Defected por nombrar unos cuantos.

Ramiro sigue inmerso en su búsqueda continua de nuevos sonidos, tendencias y nuevos proyectos que le hagan seguir creciendo. Sus seguidores tampoco paran de crecer y sus tours por Latinoamérica y Estados Unidos son cada vez más frecuentes. En los últimos años sigue abriendo fronteras y descubriendo nuevos destinos en los que dejar su propio sello. En 2018 hace su debut en Australia, país que se suma a otros como Brasil, China, India, Chile, Líbano y países de media Europa donde el manchego, después de más de veinte años de carrera, sigue disfrutando de lo que más le gusta como si fuese el primer día.
