This was one of those songs that kinda just flowed out, and I didn't question it. Sometimes its best to just let your creative side have full control :)

After reading the book 'Piranesi' by Susanna Clark, I felt so inspired from the world she created that I had to make some music. This EP is the result.
Took about 6 months from start to finish, I'm really proud of how everything turned out! By the way, all of the solo piano pieces are improvisations, the rest are more structured compositions.

Resolute Spirit

I've been experimenting more this year on actually recording live instruments and sounds, leaning less on VSTs and programmed sounds. This EP focuses heavily on the Kalimba, basically my favorite instrument other than piano. The Kalimba I have is limited to a major scale, and that limitation really lets me lean into the beauty of simple harmonies and melodies.
