One of the most well-known and genuine artists in Greece with continuous appearances at international festivals and venues, George Adi first crossed paths with the world of electronic music at a very young age. Bonding over techno beyond genre classification, he took his first steps as a professional DJ when he signed up by NON-Collective, the famous agency behind Reworks Festival.
Reworks has played a significant role through George’s musical journey as he had the opportunity to perform along great international artists such as Adam Beyer, Dubfire, Joseph Capriati, Sam Paganini Sven Vath, Loco Dice, among others while gaining valuable insight in various aspects of club culture.
Perfectly balanced between producing and dj-ing his excellent technical abilities place him among the most exciting figures that emerged from the local scene in recent years. He has presented his sound to festivals like ADE in Amsterdam, Reworks in Thessaloniki, Getaway in Lebanon, Horizon Festival in Bulgaria, Summit in Kosovo, Gem Fest in Georgia and Unum Festival in Albania to name a few and he was invited as a guest for club nights in Berlin, Ibiza, Modena, Barcelona, Bucharest, Beirut, Skopje and Bern.
He runs his own record label SHIFT digital audio, which has gained worldwide support and a series of club events in Thessaloniki where he continues to work tirelessly on his craft. His releases include labels like SCI-TEC, Tronic, EXTIMA, Kuukou Records, just to name a few, with the latest ‘’Energy’’ EP on Tronic reaching No. 1 on Beatport’s top 100.
Fast forward on and George’s love for club culture still remains deeply rooted inside him, influencing his productions and DJ sets to this day. Now over 10 years into his career, his deep understanding of the clubbing landscape allows George Adi to stay innovative and relevant in a swiftly paced genre.

The knowledge of the liquid fire was kept so tightly secret that - ultimately - it got lost. This was until Greek DJ and producer George Adi (SCI+TEC) reignited the flame by signing the ninth release on La Zic, bolstered by two remixes from BizZa and FIRZA with his Liquid Fire EP. The originals wink to the minimal techno realm with tight, marching grooves, flowing sub-bass, sick arpeggios, and early 2010s minimal percs. On the remix duties, the duo of the moment and Ushuaia Ibiza DJ-contest winners FIRZA (elrow Limited) takes the track to the next level with uplifting synths, hi-octane grooves, and unwavering mainstage attitude, while Barcelona's very own BizZa (Hottrax, Tamango Records, Take Notes) keeps things nice and rolling with a bubbling and more intimate version. The flame is never subdued, and so is La Zic's sound.

David Temessi follows up on his remix for Uncertain; with three uber-functional originals. The Seventh is a stripped back and dry tool, with „Mr. A.' giving one of the most sinister vocals you'll have heard since a while. Andre Crom takes the vocals of The Seventh and injects a heavy dose of energy, creating a peaktime bomb. Syntax Error offers a strong groove topped by a relentless synth line to create a real dancefloor weapon. On God Speed, Mr. A features on another a dry and percussive tool.
