Born in Medellin, Colombia, and based in Montreal for the past decade, the multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Ramon Chicharron is a nomadic soul. With his distinctive voice, catchy groove influenced from cumbia and other latin rhythms, and a touch of electronic sounds, Ramon will take you on a colorful travel. Through his conscious writing, his dansable compositions raise the listener’s awareness of modern environmental disruptions and the situation of migrants. His second opus, "Merecumbé", was composed alone in the Costa Rican jungle. The album was released in May 2018, and a few weeks later, Ramon Chicharron received the award for Diversity in Music by Montreal Council of the Arts. 
Ramon Chicharron’s new album, produced by Boogat, will be released in May 2020 under the label Ray-On. His new single Apretao (feat. Boogat) is released on November 29th.
