Catalan home brand Hivern Discs has been doing commendable things since its conception – courtesy of none other than John Talabot – in 2008. Hivern Discs's library of releases spans dance music comprehensively, having nurtured releases from Mr. Talabot himself, as well as Roman Flügel, Talaboman (Talabot and Boman), Pional, Teengirl Fantasy and more.

The label now preps its first venture into the new year, with a release from Luxembourgian producer, Cleveland. The Atlas EP marks his Hivern debut, with the title track and EP closer ranking as our top. Cleveland sustains an "overall dreamy feel without losing its dancefloor focus" throughout, including the arpeggiated pads of "Atlas". If you've seen Talabot play of late, chances are you've heard this one already.

Atlas EP drops on 15th January 2016, and available to pre-order from Hivern Discs' online record store.

On the 7th of april it is just about time for the next Jannowitz Records release.
„Cameron Thias“, one of our family members, will mesmerize you with his latest work called „Blue Cheese EP“ 
The very melancholic title track was remixed by none other than „Maksim Dark (SciTec)“ 
who is giving it a more minimalistic and straight drive.
The second track „Zippo“ is kind of a forward rolling bomb 
( yes the percussions are recorded Zippo lighters ),
 and Dejvid Kavazovic (Deeperfect) is changing it to straight techno in his „Motherfucker-rmx“.

For the debut release on my own new label IPSO with Kompakt Records, I wanted to try something different. The new label, IPSO is for me to invite a friend or a hero, - someone I admire musically to do a collaboration.
I’ve long been a fan of limiting myself in the studio. 
Sometimes working with less equipment brings out the best in you, so for the first release I figured it would be interesting to experiment with this. 
Inspired by the danish dogma films, I decided to make a rule. 
As I’m not one for overdoing things, the rule is very simple.
We are only allowed to use one instrument.
I reached out to my friend and all time hero Michael Mayer to do the first collab. 
Other than being co-founder of the mighty Kompakt records, and signing me in 2009, he is a genius in a dj Booth and a great producer. 
He has always been a great inspiration to me, so we agreed to start of my new Label with a bang. 
I set out the challenge, that Michael should choose the instrument. 
As I arrived in Cologne, Michael had chosen an old Yamaha Organ. Funny side note, is that it is actually Jörg Burgers organ. Jörg is actually quiet the legend himself, but that is another story. 
Michael and I spent 1 day in the studio, and we had a blast. 
The outcome is 2 great pieces of music that I'm very proud to share with you. RELEASE DIGITAL & VINYL - MAY 20

The newly established Cin Cin imprint was founded by Fort Romeau & Ali Tillett at the beginning of 2016 with the objective of bringing together old and new friends in the spirit of collaboration and togetherness. Their latest split 12" EP comes from Switzerland's Ripperton and an artist simply known as "V" who is rumoured to have a EBM background and hail from Belgium... but no one knows really.
