Ramond's new song features singer J Loryn, the production of Carter and the guitar and bass of Enmanuel Alexander and is inspired by and samples the hook from the hit 90"s television series, "Smart Guy", which chronicled 10-year-old child genius, TJ Henderson, who struggled to find his place in the world and to live a normal life.

The song cites how growing up smart isn't usually perceived as being "cool" in today's society but can usually pay off later in life. Ramond specifically references what it would have been like growing up as Childish Gambino and Jordan Peele as smart kids but how successful they have become as adults in their respective careers in music and film.

Born May 21st 1991 in Aurora Colorado, Ramond Kefing Murphy remembers always having a passion for music. He tributes artists such as Tupac, Biggie, Cannibus, Nas, Jay Z,  Andre 3000, and Kurupt as his inspirations. Although he is a rap lyricist he also grew up with influences of 90s R&B music as well . 

  He has worked and opened for many household names such as Problem, King Los, Paul Wall, Bobby Valentino, Bun B,  and many more.  

RAMOND, now in his prime, continues to deliver moving lyrics with his unique style and has perfected his skills in both rapping and producing.  He doesn't consider himself a rapper but rather an artist and song writer and has written songs in various genres.  Unlike many other artists, he has excelled with his talents because of the continuous passion and dedication to the art of music making.  He claims that he aims to create his music in 3D, meaning deep, dope and different.
