Die inzwischen zehnte Ausgabe unserer hausgemachten Podcastreihe kommt von dem DJ Duo Hopfen & Malz. Steven & Sebastian kommen aus den Tiefen des Harzes und sorgen mit ihren Sets meist für viel Bewegungsdrang im Hüftbereich. 

Das Duo, das immer wieder für einen Scherz zu haben ist, verknüpft in seinem Sound verspielte Melodien mit treibenden Basslines. Stehen sie erst einmal an den Reglern, gibt es kein Halten mehr. Volle Fahrt voraus!

Hey, hello this is DJ CreDes out of Munich and this is my Bridges to Sarajevo Filmcast. I did the vinylonly mix regarding my gigs at Sarajevo Film Festival Closing for my friends of PSC.

On the one hand the set is influenced by my work at wonderful Plattenkonferenz, our own regular clubnights at Harry Klein Club and my work as artist & AR for the label Semester Musik.

On the other hand this is a concept work, thinking about a city like Sarajevo. So I locked myself for a weekend in Café CreDes (my music room:-), played records, read articles as well as watched impressions of Sarajevo and mixed the hell out of me.

For me this podcast is about past, present and future of a turbulent city. It is about getting on a journey together, getting lost in music - using some deep, dubby stuff always focused on an emotional groove.

 Here is the recording of my very first sunrise set at Burning Man 2018 in the Black Rock Desert. I started playing around 5:45 am, the lights and lasers were still glowing in the cold darkness of the night..as the songs were passing by, the sky turned blue and the horizon warmer. Burners were all facing the deep playa, waiting for the sun to appear. It was an honour to soundtrack this moment and share music in such a magical place. No matter how hard I try, words can barely describe the energy and emotions felt in that instant... I hope music can express it better. 

I'd like to thank Maxa Camp & The Gardens of Babylon for inviting me to play on this beautiful Xaman Art Car...the mystical blue deer.   I’m very grateful to have shared this moment with so many incredible souls, old and new friends.
