Everyone who’s been to a burn probably knows how emotional, mind-blowing, and deeply fulfilling that week can be. My Sunday sunrise set at Maxa was without a doubt one of the most special and emotional sets of my life – just like the entire week at Burning Man. What an intense and beautiful journey, culminating in that final sunrise I got to play on the deer.

Huge thanks to Maxa for having me and for creating one of the most stunning art cars out there! I loved every second of that set and felt truly honored to curate the soundtrack to that last sunrise out on the playa.

It’s moments like these that fuel my fire and remind me why I keep doing what I do. ❤️‍🔥

¨Returning to the desert after two years and playing on the impressive new Galaxyer art car for my Mexican fam surrounded by so many dear friends was pure bliss and very emotional for me. I touched almost the sunrise of Thursday morning and could dance under the pink clouds framed by the iconic lasers and the impressive fire show. 

This year was one of the best Burns I had so far, I received so much love and I am beyond grateful for every single minute. Thank you to the Mayan Warrior crew for your trust over so many years!¨

Dutch producer and DJ, https://soundcloud.com/elmundomusicpage has been at the forefront of electronic music for over two decades. Since moving to Berlin he’s cultivated a sound that encompasses deep, rhythmic textures and suave melodic soundscapes. 
El Mundo entered the electronic music scene as a DJ in Nijmegen in 2002, and soon started producing music with Satori, gaining international acclaim as the duo El Mundo & Satori. By 2012, he pursued a solo career in Berlin, where he developed his distinct sound, met and began collaborating with instrumentalist/ vocalist Zazou, while founding his label, Quetame. ¨A last set in a first time Burn, closing a full circle in the Mayan and Maxa link up, playing between a Sandstorm and the ashes of the Temple, where not only me, but many of us left tears, hugs and memories on its walls to be taken by the fire. 

Sharing this moment with @madmotormiquel, a musician and person that I am so lucky to call a friend, with whom I feel the trust to musically go anywhere, and some of our closest and dearest friends as a last dance was beyond special.
