Imagine: a night fair rolls into your city—firework sparks, string lights, cotton candy in the warm breeze, the sharp ozone tang of the lamps. The signboard lights up with routes: a catapult with an instant floor drop, a “boomerang” that sends the acceleration back, a centrifuge with a springing launch, a haunted room with warped mirrors and a mannequin on a spring-mounted stand.

And now—the choice. Selectaz traces the optimal route with no empty loops: only those runs where height, radius, and timing line up. This is a selection protocol, the signature mathematics of DEEPNAS: a short launch, a clean bank, a soft landing—and an instant “one more lap.” Pruf gathers the trajectories into one precise run, as the city’s fair synchronizes to a perfect click.

Volatile Cycle, a name that is becoming firmly cemented into the upper echelons of cutting edge drum and bass is taking the scene by storm with their take on the darker end of the drum and bass spectrum. Consisting of 2 members, Dan Lawrence and James Chick, they began experimenting individually with genres such as garage and glitch hop and eventually found their niche in drum and bass. Building up their rep with a slew of releases on a number of reputable drum and bass outputs, they have worked 
their way up through the ranks to finally drop their debut LP on the seminal and beloved label Renegade Hardware. The Reaktiv LP is a masterclass in drum and music, showcasing their highly refined technical ability, yet still retaining the classic style reminiscent of the early Hardware days. Opening track ‘Wrench’ sets the tone, cutting through with razor sharp precision, whilst ‘Reckless’ and ‘Obey’ dominate the dancefloor with pulsating sub frequencies and rattling percussions. Newcomer to the scene Yen joins forces to unleash sinister undertones with ‘Forgotten Future’, whilst Russian neurofunk whizz Cod3x teams up with the duo to kill the dance with ‘Bounce. Nuklear MC puts his lyrical stamp on the track ‘Status’, a stripped back roller designed to cause maximum dancefloor damage. The Reaktiv LP is a huge milestone for Volatile Cycle. Showcasing their production chops, yet demonstrating an impressive degree of

A single being stands in their way - the strongest of his kind, the last of a genetic line extending into a derelict past with an imperative to preserve the future. An arsenal of sonic weaponry residing within the lines of his palms, drawn forth through the ancient forms manifested by long-dead masters. His swift movement amongst the shuffling army is efficient - acute strikes snap limbs, raw concentrated power crushes bone, low-frequency techniques leaving little behind from the weight of brutal molecular disruption. With the rising of the sun, only he remains – the broken dead lying scattered and without motion – the focused power of his fighting form has prevailed… the signal is preserved.
 
Following up on the impact of the sampler EP, L 33 unleashes his most devastating technique upon the EATBRAIN label with his KARATE LP. An artist residing at the heart of the Eatbrain collective with an entirely unique and recognizable sound – his album delivers a polished and hard-hitting array of tracks designed with pure dancefloor palpitation in mind. With pounding signature sound tracks that L 33 fans will hungrily devour such as KARATE, STRANGE THINGS and ELECTRIX alongside fresh sonic experiments with hard-hitting neuro in the form of DROP IT DOWN LOW and GRIME ALL THE TIME, the Karate LP delivers a heavyweight manifesto for both L 33 and the evermore legendary Eatbrain.

The return of Program has been eagerly awaited. One of the most defining sister-labels that has cemented a name for itself against its colossal counterpart,

Program’s hiatus has led to the secret expansion of its discography. One that’s about to be unleashed on the masses, after biding its time. And Aggressor Bunx deliver a four-track EP to reinstate both their name and the imprint’s… The producers have withstood the baying competition of new recruits to become a household name in their own right.

Reintroducing you to the gritty, no-apologies assault of Program’s output, up first is title-track ‘Colony’. Creepy, horror-like samples intertwine with boding snare, dragging you forward on top of steely drums. You’re given a brief moment of respite before you crash inside another unfamiliar break pattern, a feature Aggressor Bunx are renowned for.

‘Dizballance’ and ‘Time Shift’ roll out next. ‘Dizballance’ takes you down a techier route, with elevating note patterns and a madly fluctuating bassline, made stockier by pumping subs. Kick-drum bolsters the composition, creating a seemingly intricate but no less heavy fresh piece of sonic artwork.

On the other hand, ‘Time Shift’ offers up a different take on their signature production standards. Riding along a more ethereal intro, you’re opened to a deeper version of their repertoire. Ragga vocal snips drop you into distorted anarchy, amongst clinking hi-hats and wavering synth. It’s murkier than its predecessors, gradually building with each segment.

And lastly, comes ‘Hottah’. Each layer grows more and more indignant, filled with cascading drops and peddled drums ricocheting throughout the mix. It serves as the perfect finish, yet again demonstrating a commitment to a dark, fiercely intimate craftsmanship which has made the producer so notorious.

A shadow fell with bleak weight against the broken cityscape as the towering frame of the scaled behemoth stood above the now desolate metropolis. Cold eyes flickered within the recesses of its heavy skull, surveying its fragmented and twisted domain for any remnants of the fleshy morsels of the living who had once resided there. Beneath its talons shifted stone and metal, groaning under its weight in a cacophanus lament for what had been. It lumbered forward through the carnage of the city, led by its singular mind, barely noticing as each thundering step felled the last vestiges of that once grand city around it. This city on the rocky plain, a pinnacle of the species that built it, now laid to waste by this overwhelming titan of entropy and fury. The towering skyline collapsed around the beast as it effortlessly shifted and demolished with single sweeps of its tail. Issuing a howling, guttural roar of pure, brutal energy, its inhuman rage resounded throughout the city, angular audio reflections bouncing across the broken buildings and striking fear deep into the hearts of those who still clung to a wretched life. They haunted the shadows, hiding from the its ravenous hunger, hidden away in fear amongst the crumbling concrete. With a burst of sudden fury the beast twisted, striking at a skyscraper and tearing it open, spilling the mess of its insides and the once precious multitude of human things across the streets below. But missing was the softness of the meal it craved. It lumbered onward, the strange paths which this insignificant species had laid, leading it through the decaying land... a constant drive for flesh feeding its voracious desire - that endless, unfillable void. Its stride echoed with the ominous assurance of recurrence, its cycle of consumption would begin anew.
