The Collective is a Conglomerate of members from the Facebook group Underground Hip Hop only, that came together to create a dope hip hop project from scratch. Member Daniel Uriah King made a random post wondering why we never utilized all the talent in the group. We had mcs, producers, engineers, DJs and fans with good ears for music.
A few artists replied to that post and decided to make something happen. JayFromJerz is the executive producer. We gathered Beats from prodcuers like DJ Lez, Major Briggz of Fat Camp, international producer MWP, Joe November and more. Then we decided on bar counts and themes of the songs. We found someone in the collective who could engineer and master the final cut.
BOOM! Twenty or so tracks later we have a masterpiece. Sprinkled throughout the album are classic instrumentals with free verses just to pay homage to the Golden Era. This project is 100 percent Hip-hop. Hope you enjoy. We are The Collective
