Alexander Alar is a well known friend of us who we have the pleasure to welcome on Beatfreak Recordings. He delivered to us 3 strong original tracks between Indie Dance and Afro House in collaboration with another great artists as Indie Elephant, DJ Renat, Katie Pride & the great voice of Yura Baykonur. On a remix duty here we have the team Anturage & Alexey Union who did a great interpretation of the original song Jericho.

Black Rose's thirteen EP comes from emerging talent Dario Gismondi, and is truly a melodic masterpiece. He provided four great originals and we're sure they'll hit you on first listen.

The first track is the title track of the EP and is called “Atlantis”.
it is a journey that begins with an hypnotic arp and a solid bass line, and then continue with ethereal breaks that precede explosions of enerygies and melodies.

Second one is “Kraken” and carries a darker mood. This track combines heavy kick and techno drums with strong and very well designed synths and all works towards one impressive moment, where it all bursts apart.

The next song is “Oblio” and represents the perfect balance of the style of this EP, bright melodies and decisive rhythms take you on a mystical and pleasant journey.

The final track of this collection is “Shadows In The Dark” a real gem. It starts with a progressive intro and then comes the main synth witch is a rare example of original sound design.
This piece of music gives an impactful ending to the “Atlantis” EP.

'Haze-M returns to Lost on You, this time in collaboration with Tunisian producer Ahmet Mecnun, a collaboration for which the EP is named. Ibiza promises to be an anthem for the year causing hype since its limited promotional release and has been played by a wide range of the big boys on the scene. Ibiza offers a slice of positive summer vibes that will have you dancing till the sun goes down.


Haze-M and Ahmet Mecnun kick off proceedings excellently, letting the uplifting vibes shine through, as we effortlessly stroll through the club-inspired melodies on offer, topped only by the excellent vocals on offer to tie this classy piece of music together. Haze-M's trademark beat manipulation prevails, as all sorts of elements come in and out of the ear and culminate in a great finale for the beat-loving crowd and to get you in the mood for a great night out.

On the second track, Haze-M takes us back to his origins, the US-based Tunisian producer draws on his culture and roots to give Sakamouti an unparalleled touch by conveying rich and deep melodic textures, full of intrigue and emotional charm. Sakamouti is a brilliant groover, swaying precariously between melodic techno and technical, an impressive track. A well-driven bass and unparalleled percussion take care of the groove, while the beautiful melody will transport you into a night in the Sahara desert.

Sakamouti' takes you down a deeper and more thoughtful path. Tight, programmed drums lead the way, while smooth effects and gorgeous sounds share the space with the softness of the percussion on this sunrise. Timeless class.

Release Info: 
Sound Avenue's second offering of 2019 finds the label showcasing new interpretations of 'Shadow People' by Madloch and Subnode. Originally released in October of last year as part of the duo's 'Second Sight' EP, it marked the beginning of a creative partnership between the Belgian artists. Sound Avenue now calls upon Charles Webster and Nordfold and Budakid to reinterpret the track for the new year.

The second and final interpretation of 'Shadow People' is provided by Nordfold and Budakid who also make their label debut. Hailing from the Netherlands (although Budakid now resides in Berlin) the Dutch duo have been occasional studio partners since making their collaborative debut in June of 2017. Both owning impressive solo discography's, collectively the pair have showcased their music on All Day I Dream, Atlant, Last Night On Earth, Lost Diaries and Lost and Found, with joint releases coming on the equally impressive Einmusika, Stil Vor Talent and Sudbeat Music. Now presenting their first collaborative effort of 2019, Nordfold and Budakid round the release out with a fresh take on 'Shadow People'. On a backbone of buoyant beats and neatly tailored percussion comes retro grooves and solemn atmospheres. Fluid, bouncy and tastefully nostalgic, it's a piece that moves through a variety of reflective motifs. Initiating the main break are wispy overlays, descending over the framework as a hazy harmonic resonance saturates your senses, before the groove resets for a celestial finale. A stunning interpretation from Nordfold and Budakid who's studio synergy seems to grow with each successive outing. It caps off a well rounded remix edition for 'Shadow People' which is sure to find its way into a broad range of DJ sets over the coming months.
